Great Starter
I have recenetly ordered and received this guitar starter package. In my opinion I think this package is pretty nice for the price. It came with the guitar amp, and chord in great condition. The only downside so far buying this pack is that the headphones don't work, and neither does the tuner. But other then that, I thought this pack was pretty sweet. The book and DVD helps a bit if you are just starting, as I am myself. I've never played guitar before, and the book gives me something to practice. Another sweet feature is the amp comes with gain distortion, so no need to buying an extra distortion pedal or anything unless you want to get hard core with it. But in my opinion I think the distortion is good enough for coming with the amp, instead of going out and buying something else. If you're thinking about playing electric guitar, i'd definitly take a greater look into this awesome deal.

Great for beginners and room to grow
Got this for christmas, and I have to say I am extremely satisfied with it. The guitar, for one, looks awesome: really a beautiful instrument. It smudges easily, so get a cleaning cloth with it. The sound is excellent; the pickups let you play with the sound, the tone is clean, and the sustain is impressive. Suprisingly, the included strings are also pretty nice (most packs, and even guitars I have seen, come with pretty lousy strings). The amp is quite loud and plenty if you are playing by yourself or jamming with a friend, but you will probably need a bigger one for performances. A gripe about the amp: only one instrument input. However, it does have component input, which is great for plugging in your lesson dvds or cds and playing along. The distortion is very, very nice. The included perks like the gigbag, suprisingly good quality headphones, and picks give you everything you need to get started and really add to the value. Really a great pack.

Great Value for the Price
I bought this guitar as one of my first guitars. It seemed like a good deal for the money and it definately was. This was the guitar i taught myself how to play on. I must say that I would definately recommend this to anyone getting started. However, as you begin to grow in your abilities to play, you will begin to see the limitations of the instrument and its faults; especially once you start playing some higher level guitars. Either way, the guitar is great for the price, the amp is not bad at all, plus it comes with a bunch of other great stuff too. I have had no problems in terms of the quality of the instrument, however i would recommend changing the strings relatively soon after the purchase.

Impressive
When I first went out look for an electric guitar, I was expecting to walk out of the store with a classic style, like a Mexican Fender or maybe an Epiphone, but I came out with this one. Five months later I am still rejoicing over my find. It feels amazing. I can't describe it. It is as if it was set up for me out of the box and I actually know this, despite my inexpierience, because I have played many, many guitars, including upper end American made models. The amp is ok. It has very limited controls and when the gain is high it whistles but man it is loud. The pickups are on the heavy side for me but I knew that before I bought it. With new pick-ups (probably Gibsons) and a better amp, nothing will stop me from playing this ax long into the future.

Love IT!
I got this guitar for a gift, I haven't put it down since. Sound is great, amp is sweet, and the look of the guitar is awesome. Only downside the tuner is not top quality.
