Great Guitar

I played a lot of acoustic guitars in this price range before I settled on the AEL20. It wasn't even close once I picked this one up. It sounds great, plays great, and is pretty tough. I don't know how many times I've banged it against something, and still no dings in the guitar. I haven't had a good chance to test the electronics on it, aside from the built in tuner, which is extremely convenient. Try it before you buy it, but you're going to like it.

Don't buy this Guitar!

Don't buy this guitar! I ordered this guitar based on the very generous reviews people had written. It seemed like a great find and it was so pretty! I had always wanted a blue guitar. Yes, contrary to what others have written, do let the fact it was made in China influence you.. Maybe some of these are okay, but not what arrived via ups to my door. It sounds so cheap! Feels even cheaper and is heavy. I could not get rid of the horrific buzz in the strings, and could not keep the guitar tuned. It is pretty to look at, but as Forrest Gump says, "pretty is as pretty does.". Do yourself a favor and buy the Fender T Bucket 300 cutaway. Less money and infinitely better, great action, no buzz and remarkable sound. I haven't been able to put this guitar down. And when I plugged it into mys little 15 amp frontman amp, the sound was unbelievable. Buy the Fender, you will thank me.

ok so i bought this guitar for one reason: its blue. i have an $800 martin and dont really need another great sounding guitar yet but this guitar suprised me. i was expecting clangy twangy sound but it has a very full, satisfying sound. i always read the lowest star reviews because thats a smart thing to do but whoever wrote the 1 star reviews must have been going through a rough day cause there aint nothing wrong with this guitar. i dont like the ugly cream lining sorounding the body but thats my only complaint. all around i love this guitar and its perfect for noob guitar players or intermediate players! if you need a great sounding guitar then you should prolly buy this one!:)

I have had this guitar for almost one year. It is a good guitar with great action! It has a nice, full tone to it. Everything about it that I have seen is great! On occasion it can have a buzz on the first string, but it will only last a few minutes, if that. I play in the high school praise band at church, and it sounds great when plugged into the system. Another good aspect is that it has some great bass! If the bassist doesn't show up, I can cover it! Very good guitar!

This guitar is Amazing. I got it in black, and it is darker than the picture. The tuner is great, and it sounds good either plugged in or not.The bass is really good and warm. I think the action is a little low, but that's just a matter of opinion. This guitar is definitely worth buying!

This guitar plays AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!! It is so amazing it just keeps creativity flowing, like everytime i pick something new comes up, a melody or a bass line. Very fast neck makes it one of the easiest guitars I ever played. It has a beautiful tone. Low tones are deep and accentuated, as a matter of fact I many times catch myself playing bass lines on it like so that I dont even have to switch to my bass guitar. Thats versatility..! Its a very sturdy guitar, not small but also not too big. I guess its size and wood material (all maple) contributes to the overall rich deep tone it has. Aesthetically, this guitar is STUNNING. I have the blue burst and its beautiful to the eye. The headstock shape its one of the most beautiful i ever seen on a guitar, added the gold tuners it stands out even more. Then the rosewood neck, notice the wood patterns on the the wood its beautiful, i never seen such in other guitars. This guitar plays so well acoustically i havent even bother try it thru a PA. All in all its one of the best value guitars for its price range, you surelly wont be disapointed. Check it out!

I went to Guitar Center to get some strings. Had a hour drive so I went in to play a few acoustic guitars. 1st thing that caught my eye was this Ibanez AEL20ETBS (Blue)Very pretty guitar. When I plugged it into a amp and played, WOW!! Great tone! I couldn't leave without it. Bought it on the spot. Keep in mind I also own a Taylor and Fender. This guitar can play with the big dogs and has a very full sound all it's own and is very adjustable to get any sound you want. I found the finish flawless, the craftmanship equal to any high end guitar. I had to adjust the neck and lower the action, but I do that to all my guitars. Worth twice the price in my book. I've been playing over 40 years.
