Everything I needed and more!
Though not very loud, this guitar sings with a sweet natural tone that is best when amplified. Whether plugged into an acoustic guitar amp, electric guitar amp, PA system, or recording channel it is easy to acheive many great sounds directly from the guitar. The 3-Band EQ, Shape contour, chromatic tuner, volume control, and phase switch combined with a Fishman pickup are probably worth the total price of this extremely playable guitar. The body and neck are both slimmer than most classical designs and are joined at the 14th fret with a cutaway that allows easy playing up to the 21st. None of the 21 frets are marked giving the neck a very smooth appearance while the rest of the guitar is adorned with color and gloss. Both neck and body are edged with white and black binding and are dark mahogany while the top is spruce with abalone around the sound hole and a stunning tangerine finish. Gold classical tuners and dual outputs, one 1/4 in. and one XLR, also help make this unique guitar stand out as a great value. Requires two AAA bateries.

Its Great!
This guitar is beautiful.. Not only is it a looker but it also sounds great. Its a shallow body so its not very loud but the sound it does produce is excellent. Plugged in this guitar really sings.. With all the feature you cant go wrong. The neck is smaller than a normal classical making it easier to play. It holds its own with the more expensive classicals. Its a good buy. I love it.

Excellent value
Recently purchased from local Guitar Center store. Played it and several more expensive classical guitars -- the Ibanez was as easy to play and sounds just as good as the other shallow classicals. It sounds ok (but not wonderful) when not plugged in, but plugged in even to a regular electrical guitar amp it sounds full and deep. The onboard equalizer and shape-shifer make a big difference. I especially like the narrower neck that "true" classicals which is easier for me to play. The tangerine top color is very interesting and different.

Ibanez is Great
I teach guitar at Eastside High School and these guitars are perfect for my students. The ability to switch from acoustic to electric is an incredible advantage. The guitar sounds great and the value is excellent.

AMAZING!!!
I too played every guitar in the room, BY FAR the best feeling and sounding guitar in the room. I honestly thought it was mispriced. The way it felt and sounded especially when plugged in, was incomparable even by the higher priced guitars. Built in Tuner, phase button, equalizer, XLR and 1/4 inch plug-ins. ***** stars
