I bought this one to get my Yamaha DGX to my PreSonus soundcard. This cable is amazing to me because it keeps the sound flat so you don't have any problems mixing your tracks. This is important to me because it means less work. That means more time for creating.
I have a few of these and a bunch of other Hosa cables. This cable works great to go from my ADA MP-1, which has a 1/4 left and right plugs, into one of the mixers I have that has a stereo TRS plug. Makes getting sound into the computer really easy. I don't abuse my equipment but I do switch everything up very often depending on what I'm trying to record and I have yet to have a Hosa cable or plug go bad yet. Besides,Hosa makes the 7 pin MIDI cable for my MP-1, so in my book that makes them Rock!
Hosa makes great products at great prices. I use these all the time for hooking up a drum machine to a mixer or for an effects loop on a guitar amp. I have never had a problem with Hosa cables breaking down on me.
