I've been using a set of these cables hooked up to my M-Audio BX8as for several years and haven't had a single issue with them. They seam pretty durable to me. Great for the price. Bottom line is, a wire is a wire, unless your wires are made out of pure gold or silver. I'm an electrical engineer and I can vouch for that.
DO NOT EVER EVER EVER buy this. I made the mistake of purchasing this TRASH to use to plug my guitar effects processor into my nice reference monitors. When I went to unplug the cables from the monitor, BOTH tips of the cables broke off and latched in the monitor input jack. Disgusted with this product. so do yourself a favor and NEVER BUY.
