Affordable portable sound system with subwoofer.

The Harbinger HA300 delivers big sound in a medium package at a small price. It is a full range system that features a subwoofer, a vertical array of four inch speakers and a piezo tweeter, power to run them all and a capable mixer. It is a complete sound reinforcement solution that is apropriate to venue installation, bands, DJs and any application that requires clear, loud sound reinforcement.

The mixer features two channels with balanced XLR and balanced 1/4" line inputs, each with discreet volume control and two band EQ. A third channel accepts a stereo 1/8" input, volume control and two bands of EQ as well. A master volume controls overall system volume, and a linking panel features an XLR input and an XLR output. All of this mixing capability is built-in to the HA300T top speaker.

The HA300T contains a 100W power amp and the subwoofer (HA300S)contains a 200W power amp. The top speaker has a 1/4" subwoofer output that is crossed over at 150Hz so the power amp in the top doesn't need to process the low frequencies at all. If you want, you can use just the top and when the subwoofer out is not engaged, the speaker processes the full range signal.

The HA300T features four 4 1/2" drivers and a 3 1/2" piezo driver. The HA300S features a 12" 200W 8 ohm speaker in a ported cabinet. The linking system makes it ideal for hooking two systems together.

  • Great Speaker System for the Money

As reviewed by Damond Stewart on 10/1/2012

I'm a mobile DJ and needed a new set of speakers for my setup. I stumbled upon these speakers as they were set up for demo at my local GC. I loved the look and kept coming back to them like they were calling my name lol. When a sales rep demonstrated them she used an ipod and I was blown away by the headroom and bass response. I bought two units and am currently using them as my active speakers. I have been very pleased with their look, portability, and overall sound. I bought the pro plan just to be safe because I have never used Harbinger before and wanted some insurance but so far I have been pleased. If I had to be picky on anything it would be the handles. I wish harbinger would have chosen molded handles over straps but that is about all I could complain about. If Harbinger comes out with a 15" sub set I think I would by a those as well.

I bought these speakers for the price point. I needed portability small foot print and good sound. These are great for small parties and small backyard events. I was a little leery about how they were going to sound, but bought 2 of these and took them home. I set up one set first and was a little disappointed by how hollow the bass sounded, I was amazed at the clarity of the top monitors. The bass is not deep enough for me but for 12" subwoofers what do you expect. I then set up both speakers and WOW is all I can say. Really loud and I would definitely recommend if you are a start up DJ or musician. I am going straight from a DJ controller to these and with the right adjustment they suit my purpose well. I will definitely get a bigger subwoofer later, but for now this is it.

  • Solid As A Rock !

As reviewed by Nick Lamberti on 12/20/2012

Great system.I bought 2 of these and am now using these for my main DJ system.Ive been a Dj for over 25 years and appreciate this solid, well put together system.Nice, Nice clear top end. Great Bottom, very very portable. Not a system you have to worry about.Ive had many more expensive systems that were not as road worthy.I do between 50-80 gigs a year and never know if I need a sub or not.WIth these its all good.Another nice feature you can use the top self powered satellites by themselves in another coctktail oceremony area for a wedding. Thank you Harbinger
