Gibson Les Paul Hardshell Case

I needed a good case to store and transport a guitar that I built. Guitar fits perfectly. Very happy with this case.

wish it were higher quality.

The case was perfect, better than expected.

Ordered this case to give my Les Paul some better storage protection. When the case arrived, I noticed all sorts of quality issues which I wouldn't expect in a case this expensive. It looked like it had been made by a trainee learning the job. The covering was uneven and puckered in places. Inside, the lining had lots of gaps and uneven places, with glue smears in several spots. Worst of all the strap button gap was off center, causing the instrument to rest crooked in the case. This case is made in Canada by TKL Products, and that surprised me because my Martin acoustic came with a TKL case which is top-shelf quality. I called TKL's office in Virginia and a nice lady named Deneen (hope I spelled it right) assured me that what I was describing didn't sound right and that I should do an exchange. Guitar Center gladly swapped the case out and even overnighted the replacement at no cost. The new case was obviously made by experienced hands and is everything the first case was not. End result is I've got what I wanted, but it took two tries. So the three stars are for me having to go to the extra effort to get what should have come the first time. Good work Guitar Center and TKL customer service. Thumbs down for TKL's quality control at their Canadian operation.

The guys and gals at Guitar Center are great to deal with. I think if you know what you're looking for and what you're talking about, they can get you whatever you need and are very friendly as well.
