Dhani Harrison & The Fender American Professional Stratocaster

Dhani Harrison & The Fender American Professional Stratocaster

Description
Often copied, but never surpassed, the Stratocaster is arguably the world’s most-loved electric guitar. Electrifying the music world since its debut in 1954, its natural, versatile sound made the Stratocaster the benchmark for exceptional guitar tones. The American Professional Stratocaster isn’t a re-imagining of the classic design; it’s the authentic original model, evolved.

The choice of musical legends since its release, the Stratocaster feel and sound set the world on fire, powering music movements from electric blues to EDM, and everything in-between. In your hands this Strat is ready to navigate the creative twists and turns of your music, inspiring you to express yourself in new ways through your playing.

Developed by pickup master Tim Shaw, the brand-new V-Mod single-coil pickups are voiced specifically for each position, mixing alnico magnet types to produce powerful, nuanced tones with original Fender sonic DNA. Retain high-end clarity when adjusting the volume controls, thanks to the new treble-bleed tone circuit that lets your tone shine through in all its glory. The new modern “Deep C”-shaped neck profile feels just right in your hand while the narrow-tall frets make it easy to bend strings accurately and play perfectly intonated chords.

The best of yesterday and today, the American Professional Stratocaster is the latest form of electric inspiration from Fender. Step up and stake your claim to a legend.

A Great Guitar and highly recommended

I have had my Fender American Pro 3-Color Sunburst, SSS configuration for a year now. I am very pleased with the guitar. The finish on the guitar is amazing. I could just look at the 3-Color sunburst all day long and it still would not be enough. The wood grain on the body is superb. Mine is 2-piece alder joined at the center. The 2-piece of alder match so good on my guitar that it looks they took time to select wood when joining the 2 pieces The neck is fast, smooth. The satin finish on back of the neck helps enormously since there is less friction than ones covered in paint. It took some time to get used to the narrow-tall frets. But once I got used to the frets, I found that it is very easy to bend. The pickups are great on this guitar. The Neck position is my favorite for clean tones. I use the Bridge pickup for lead tones. This guitar combined with Vox AC15 is a hard to beat combination. There are two tone knobs - one for the Neck pickup only and the other for the remaining positions. So you can pre-set the tone of your Neck Pickup one way and other way on other positions and can get different tones on the fly. Unplugged, the guitar sounds very good too. The real bone nut helps with the vibration and resonance. That's how I knew this guitar is a really good one. Good guitars resonate beautifully acoustically too. this one certainly does that. The most important aspect is how the guitar stays in tune. You can bend the strings up and down all day, but it stays in tune. And last but not the least, the guitar comes with a solid molded case with velvet interior. Overall, a good investment and my playing has improved tremendously. Thanks

beautiful guitar

Typical Fender... excellent quality, superb fit an finish. This is a very nice guitar, and I really like the deep c-d neck shape- BUT, I hate the feel of the tall narrow frets.Tim Shaw's pickups sound good. Frets are a deal breaker for me. I am returning it.

This is an excellent guitar, with great articulation and presence. The neck profile and frets are different than my old Strat, but just as easy to play.

I had a EJ Strat before this but it had a defect in it. I had to sent it back. The EJ was a good guitar. I intended to buy another one but they didn't have the one I was looking for. So I settled with the American professional Strat. I was very impressed with resonance unplugged but probably not as pronounced as the EJ Strat probably due to polyurethane vs the nitro cellulose. Once you start playing it though plugged in you forget about those details and just enjoy playing American professional Strat. It has a faster playing neck than the EJ and would imagine your hand would fatigue playing the EJ at a gig. The pickups sound good to me best way to describe is a blend of old school and new school sound. Distorted they sound nice and clear and soloing has good articulation and feel.the tuners are staggered and keep the guitar in tune pretty good but will replace them due to faster string change and better tuning stability especially if u plan on using the tremolo. May swap out the pickups as well eventually not because I don't like them but just to expierement. The bone nut certainly adds to the resonance and sustain and is better than synthetic materials in my opinion. Overall a good Strat that will satisfy even the most seasoned player.

Great playing, feeling, sounding guitar. An absolute pleasure to play! The modern profile neck and tall frets make it so easy to bend strings and play fast licks. Can't wait to play gigs with it. The only thing I would change on this Strat, would be for it to come with locking tuners stock, which I immediately retrofitted as soon as I got the guitar.

I've been wanting to get one of these guitars since they first released a couple years back. I finally got mine today! The neck on this guitar plays effortlessly, whether it's chords or soloing, you feel what you're playing, without straining your hand and wrist. The pickups are responsive and clear, and the tone is simply beyond this planet. I settled on the Sienna Sunburst finish, and it is gorgeous to put it kindly. That beautiful grain from the ash body is undeniably cool! The molded hard shell case is rock solid, and it looks like it'll protect the guitar nicely. I'm so happy I bought this guitar! She's a definite keeper!!!
