Great deal for beginner or advanced player
I have had this pack for amost a year and I'm still amazed with how good the guitar sounds. I put fender super bullets on it and sounds great. The cable was poor quality, but the amp sounds great, good picks, and the strap is very comfortable. I would recommend this pack to beginner and advanced players. It is good for band practice.

A good beginner's package
I have been learning on an acoustic and wanted to try electric. I picked this package as I wanted the tremolo feature. From an amateur's perspective this is what I thought of the package...
Amp: A pretty decent amp, some cool effects and not too cumbersome.
Tuner: Crap quality- look at replacing. I use a cheapo Ibanez tuner, and it gives better response.
Guitar: Gorgeous metallic red finish, the plastic trims are OK, and the general build quality (made in Indonesia) is typical of a budget guitar- not bad, but not anything to write home about. So far the tremolo doesn't cause the guitar to get out of tune, but may be too early to say.
I'm not sure if my package was missing this, but I found no manual to describe how to care, set-up, feature description, etc (the amp did, however come with a manual). If aimed at beginners, I'd have thought this would have been a requirement.
Accessories: Picks, spare tremolo spring, allen key, strap, case - all reasonable.
I general, I am pleased with the guitar. I can't help but wonder what the other makes of equal value were like (Epiphone, Ibanez, etc) but maybe my engineering background makes me a little too critical of this guitar.
You pays your money, and you takes your choice...

Great for beginners
This setup is good for anyone just buying a guitar on a limited income. It gives you an ok guitar and a decent amp, but you do get what you pay for. The guitar itself has a lot of trouble with the neck. Mine tookfixing numerous times. It also has some trouble staying in tune (ESPECIALLY if you use a whammy). All in all good to start with, but won't last you forever. Once you start getting into higher levels of music, you'll have to buy a new guitar.
