This electric guitar case has a stylish textured vinyl hardshell outer covering, durable black vinyl ends, protective lining, and of course, the Fender logo. Fits the Mustang, Jag-Stang, Cyclone, Musicmaster, and Bronco guitars.
Not that you have a choice, but these are pretty good cases. These guitars upper cutaways aren't deep enough to fit most "universal" cases and the necks are too long, too. The biggest problem with the cases is there's no storage compartment at all, so you'll have to do somtheing to keep accessessories (trem bar, wrenches, straps, etc.) from bouncing around--maybe wrap them in a towel or mod the case. Also there's not a lot of padding in the corners (like around the lower strap button). One dated feature is there's a strap to hold the neck and it's fastened with a snap. Maybe that's true to the original and good for nostalgia, but this is an example of why we shouldn't always make things like we used to. I've owned this for a bout a month and it seems reliable so far; I heard of oine guy who's neck strap snap came undone right away, but that was probably just defective because mine seems sturdy. The look and feel is high-quality--strong stitching, thick vinyl, vintage look. Anyway, unless you're going to have a custom case built, this may be your only option; beats the heck out of a gig bag.
