Great Musical Instrument. Exceptional quality.

I understand that less than 200 of these were made and now the instrument is discontinued. Amazing guitar. Stays in tune. No issues. Sounds great. Doesn't make a racket of 60 cycle hum like most single coil pickups. One of the nicest playing strats I ever held. The tremolo system is so smooth and the extra tonal options on the push/push volume knob are cool. The Instrument is balanced well and made for DURABILITY and to deal with the things that life throws at you when you are in the heat of "Gig battle" The multi-radius fingerboard gives you the best of all fender worlds. This model instrument would later be called "the elite" Stratocaster. Made for a classic sound with appointments to handle the modern world. Not a fan of the Gold on gold pickguard (cosmetically) but a nice white one can easily be added... The big drawback for me was the included molded case. EWWWW. I hate those molded cases. I've hated them since the 80's and was glad when fender did away with them. They say those cases are flight safe, But I wouldn't stick this in the belly of a Plane... NO WAY JOSE.

SPECIAL RUN IS SPECIAL

This fit and finish of this ax is excellent, flawless! The features certainly contribute to it's playability and quality. The S1 switch adds additional creativity and the neck and action is nothing short of fast. The 6105 frets are the icing on the cake. This limited run is a collector.
King Tut would own this guitar!

Our gazes locked from across Guitar Center. The hair on the back of my neck stood on end. You beckoned me - called me - and I floated across the room and you fell into my arms! I took you home with me and provided you with all the best - new strings, a complete cleaning setup and waxing with only the finest micro fiber. You told me you loved me. You weren't even jealous of my Giffin! Then - you kicked me out of the house and moved in with the drummer... It was and is a true love story. The guitar plays and sounds great, and the S1 provides alternatives that are unique. Very snappy lookin', too! As usual, I felt the documentation too limited and generic, but that is a minor complaint. I forgive you! Love, Funky Tut...
Ice Blue In Tacoma

I spotted one of these in the Tacoma,WA store. A week later it was mine. I traded in my old workhorse Vandenberg to get it. The Ice Blue metallic finish stands out head and shoulders over all the red, black, and dark blue finishes on the wall. Workmanship is outstanding. All I did is put on D'Addario 10s and lower the action a touch. The S-1 switching seems to have a more pronounced effect on a SSS configuration. I have HSS S-1 as well. Could be just me but the SSS actually sound better then the HSS. This is a FSR but don't buy it to collect. It would be a shame to just sit in the case. The pop in arm is superior to the screw in type. It stays where you put it. The two point system and locking tuners are the way to go. Why they still make the 6 screw version- i don't know. I have two beefs. It should have come with an LSR nut and cool tweed case.
