Awesome Tone for the price

Don't let Made in Mexico fool you, this is an awesome strat. I just love the tone, it rings like a bell when you want to, then roars when you crank up the volume or gain. I love all three pick ups, The Pearly gates is a perfect match for this guitar, and The Texas Specials are so beautiful and loud. The second position on the 5-Way switch is such a cool tone. Only problem I have is the frets are not rounded perfectly on the fret board and may make your hand raw if you play a lot and have sensitive skin, but I only really notice it when doing bar chords with sliding bar chords, also I maybe the only one with this problem since I haven't seen it in other reviews.
Great Guitar

I've been playing for over 20 years, and have owned many different guitars, and this is one of my favorites.I picked this guitar up used, I don't think the previous owner ever played the guitar. I set it up to my liking, and I gotta tell you, I love this guitar, great tone, and a variety of different sounds can be had. The pickups are fantastic, the pearly gates is a little hotter than the Texas coils, but I expected that. I play all kinds of music from hard rock to country, and this guitar delivers. I recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a nice quality and great sounding guitar, but doesn't have the $$$ for an American made strat.
Great Sunburst Strat

Great Strat, Great pups, the neck is fast and the tone is fantastic. I was not expecting this guitar to be this good. Tuners and tremolo stay in tune. The only things I had to do were set the intonation on 2 strings and reset the tremolo because I changed the strings to tens. I also adjusted the action. The sunburst finish on this thing is flawless. I am very happy I got this one.

This guitar sounds amazing. Went to Guitar Center over Easter weekend to take advantage of %15 off special, I resisted the temptation to buy one of the standard MIM strats they had available for take home that day and opted to order this one online. Arrived in three days and in perfect condition. Excellent choice, just buy it you want be disappointed.
Great Guitar, but, the manual is a joke

Gotta take a star away for having such a crummy manual. It is a generic Fender 20 pamplet which covers ALL (Fender)guitars and basses. With a $600 guitar (normal retail price) I would like something better, a manual specific to Strats AND the model that I bought. The manual does state that if I want more specifics on my model, I should visit thier web-site. Haven't done it yet, but I will. OK, the guitar: LOVE the sound, it was exactly what I was looking for: twangy yet mellow. I had been considering a hollowbody electric, to get that bluesy sound ala B.B. King and the likes, but my economic situation forced me to have another look at the more affordable Strats. I chose this one because of the rosewood fretboard, high quality pickups, and positive reviews, and I am extremely satisfied with the results.

Hello sir, I'm planning to buy this guitar so checking for more information. I just want to know about the tremolo system. Is it good? I mean compared to other cheaper fender (bullet, squir or classic vibe series). I'm blown away by the beauty of the guitar... Please help me out... Yours Wungreithan Jajo From Delhi (India)
