Amazing srv tone

These pickups are amazing. After installing these just put on some 11's and your guitar will come to life. With heavier strings it makes the tone so much better. The tone is so rich it sounds just like srv. I highly suggest buying these to improve your tone. Can play with any type of music except heavy metal.

Texas special pickups

I bought these pickups to swap into a standard made in mexico strat. I love the texas special pickups. These pickups are the perfect way to wake you strat up a little more. They still provide a traditional strat sound, but just a little less twang and a little more bite. Love the feel of your strat but want a more edgy dirty sound? No need for a new guitar, here is your solution.

Smokin

I've got a Mexican Strat, and I put the Texas Specials in it. They are quiet, and smooth. The stock pickups just had to much hiss for me. It really woke up a sleeping giant. This guitar sounds like an american strat to me.

crisp and tough

My Dad and I wired these pickups into my Squier (yeah, I know, I've got a Celestion equipped Fender 25R to give to my brother, too), and it roared to the point I didn't know what to do with the extra bite, which comes alive with good amplification. There's like 600 extra windings in each pickup, making them hot, hot, hot! Take a snapshot of Mark Knopfler, Albert Collins, or one of the Vaughn Boys and jam it into your fav style.

Custom Shop Texas Special Pickups

Made famous by Stevie Ray Vaughn that unique and beautiful tone comes to life when you plug a set of these in. The tones are beautiful and ring out giving your guitar that knarl and extra bite. I have a Mexican Strat with a set of these in it and other then the differences in the bridge i truly can not tell the difference between my foreign made strat and an american. They are also ideal for multi-styles of music such as rock, blues, country, and indie. I recomend that if you are a strat owner you invest in a set of these. They will take your playing to a whole other level.
