The price of this pedal will scare many people off but if you're looking for an amazingly beautiful sounding pedal and have an apple product to control is unit, it's worth the money. Professional and smooth sounding, that is immediately apparent as you scroll through the patches. I've always been torn been the convenience of a pedal board and the sound quality of a rack system, this pedal solves that. I'm using it with a line 6 M5 (for phaser, comp, wah, etc) tc electronic nova drive for overdrive and distortion and the H9 for everything else. I'm tempted to get an H9 core so I can run delay and reverb at the same time but there are patches that roughly do those effects at the same time. The word "lush" comes to kind when I describe how it processes your sound. The unit is built like a tank and the iPad interface is pretty intuitive and easy to navigate. A lot people have said that their worried that either units will become dated and will not stand the test of time like a stand alone pedal but I'll be happy to use it for the next few years. I like this better than my TC Gforce. I'm not huge into effects but I do like quality, this pedal huts the mark from many perspectives; studio quality, compact, pedalboard friendly, midi, extensive user interface, and well built.
