Chuck your pillow

This head is great. I've tried pillows and foam muffles inside my kick, but this head eliminates them. Now the drum just resonates naturally. Nice muffling action from either one of the removable foam rings. Regular gigs have not diminished the quality of the head in any way. Love it.

EXELLENCE!!!

This drumhead is beyond the rest. No matter what type of shell you drum is, with this head there is never a need to put anything inside the drum. The resonant head together with it makes the bassdrum sound like it's actually miked. The price is amazing for this pro-quality head!

EMAD 2

This is an awesome head. I had an aquarian superkick I, and I broke it, so i got the emad 2. Its perfect for me! Im into rock and metal (Led zep, Metallica, etc), so this gives me the perfect sound i want. deep, full, and no annoying ring. Get it! you'll be glad you did!

Worth the few extra bucks

Had em for 2 years now. They're the best I've ever owned! They sound great! Nice deep low end, great feel and attack, and very durable. The foam rings are easy to install and get rid of unwanted ring and overtone without changing the overall feel and attack of the head. A little pricey, but well worth the few extra bucks

The head that counts

This drum head has been great to me for the past four years of my drumming career. I've used Evans and Evans only when it comes to heads. This EMAD 2 has the biggest punch and leaves enough room for great resonance so no drummer has to stuff a blanket in the drum. With amazing punch; durable build and amazing audible flexability, this head takes your feet to a whole new level. Whether you're just keeping a beat at the local club; or your tearing it up with both feet going as fast as possible; the Evans EMAD 2 bass head is guarenteed to leave you satisfied.
