Swells of Fun

I have been playing guitar for about 7 years now and have been playing live for about a year(which is why I needed this pedal). The Ernie Ball VP JR is a great choice for anyone who needs greater control over their volume in order to produce a more dynamic sound. When creating swells, it just doesn't get much better. You can put your full weight onto the pedal and it will still pivot smoothly, overall a good purchase for any serious musicians.

Ernie Ball VP JR.

This pedal is deffinately worth every penny spent. I bought this pedal several months ago and still have no regrets! With a steel casing this pedal is a brick, virtually indestructible! It has a very wide range so you can set it to the perfect level with ease! It uses a pot very simmiliar to the volume knob on your guitar. Which can only mean one thing...No power supply needed! It also has an inline tuner output. I would reccomend it to anyone, beginner of pro!

Great tone keeper

Ernie Ball VP JR. Passive Volume Pedal. I like this volume pedal because it doesn't color tone... you maybe thinking to yourself, "Its a volume pedal... theres not much to it." Wrong! If the components are poor in quality the volume pedal will reflect that. The tuner out is very handy but be aware that if your tuner is poor in quality it may still effet the tone.

A great pedal, you really need one of these

Ok, you have your long chain of effects pedals, just so you can change your sound with the tap of a button. So why do you keep reaching back to your amp to turn yourself up? Come on! But don't worry, the VP JR. is just for you. It's built like a tank and it's ultra-reliable. Finally, you're gonna get to boost your solos the way they we're meant to be!

Built To Last

The Ernie Ball line of volume pedals are simple the Rolls Royce of pedals. I am a professional musician and I purchased my first EB volume pedal, the 6166, in 1986 and I have been everywhere with it working with it everyday and it still performs great. Twenty years of non stop touring, studio and all else musical and no break downs or malfunctions, ever ! Now that's tough and that is value my friends, worth every penny. I just purchased my second pedal, a VP JR. and it is currently on the pedal board in use. I am sending in the 6166 to Ernie Ball to be refreshed and both pedals will leave on a tour starting in a few months. The volume pedal is a great tool for musicians and I could not imagine playing without my Ernies.
