If you wanna ride the lightning,get this stomper! I went to my local GC (Ft.Wayne,IN)dragging in my 20 year old Peavey amp to find anything to make it ROCK, and with alot of patience from my salesman,we plugged in different digitech and boss models but they just couldn't bring the old solid state around 'till he says to me"I know what ya need!". He came back with ARMAGEDDON in a box,the METAL MUFF.This thing grabbed my amp by the balls and hasn't let go since! With it's low,mid,high settings plus boost and volume control,you can't ask for a better monster metal stomp box.This thing crunches,grinds,chomps,whails and screams with sustain and authority, and it's made right here in the great U.S.A.! I can't wait to hear it plugged in to a more "suitable" amp, but for now I'm havin' fun with my old junker with a new bionic heart! I bought this pedal about 2 years ago when I was looking for a reliable solid distortion to put in front of my Marshall half stack. I blind bought this, and honestly, I'm glad that I did. Rich distortion tone, amazing EQ on the pedal... and the distortion is so thick that sometimes I had to turn the Gain knob down onstage to keep the hiss down. :D . The only complaint I have is that the AC adapter is a must, with top boost on, the battery will drain in a 2-3 hour band practice.
dear guitar center, I've tried a lot of different distortion pedals and fuzz tones but it never satisfied my inner self better than this metal muff. I feel like I don't wanna stop playing with it even in the middle of the night and adjusting it to the near perfect adjustment.It's really cool and never regret having it,and so is the price. Thank you guys for continually making innovations more aggresive for the benefit of music and musicians as well.
