this pedal is just sick. huge sound. sustain for days. my favorite pedal on my board. period. if you play any kind of rock bass, you need to have this. i gives everything from black keys or queens of the stone age fuzz to type-0 or sabbath doom.

  • A MUST OWN FOR ANY BASS PLAYER!!!!!!!!!

As reviewed by Deyquan on 3/21/2011

I got this bad boy in the mail yesterday morning. And man, I was ASTONISHED by the sound this pedal produces. I could go from Queens of The Stone Age fuzz to Cliff Burton distortion in the flick of a switch. My favorite feature of this pedal is the Dry setting. It takes tone clean tone thats get bypassed to your amp and adds the amount of distortion you want with NO LOSS OF YOUR LOW END. Compared to some of the more pricey pedals out there, i strongly suggest investing in this product. Also don't worry about breaking it. The components are housed inside the medal shell with very durable knobs and switches. The only thing you have to worry about is damaging the floor when you drop it!

  • AWESOMENESS

As reviewed by Pawel on 4/2/2011

This is the first fuzz pedal I've bought, and it does not look like I'll be needing another one. It can do seemingly anything, from Cliff Burton's screeching tone on "Pulling Teeth", to the wall of fuzz found in Mudhoney's music. The pedal is built like a frigging tank. I doubt it's possible to break this thing unless you run it over with a semi. This pedal has three modes: normal, bass boost, and dry. In normal, you get your ordinary awesome sounding fuzz. In bass boost, you regain your bottom end if you have your tone set high, good for brutal metal riffs. My favorite mode, however, is "dry". This mixes your normal bass sound with your fuzz sound. The volume knob in this mode, instead of deciding volume, controls the ratio of your clean tone to your fuzz tone. Overall, I wouldn't look any further than this pedal if you want a high-quality fuzz sound.
