I saw the M-10 online few months back and I liked it in general and I was looking forward to try it upon visiting my local GC. Fast forward 2 weeks ago I asked an employee about it and they brought one from the warehouse. I plugged the M-10 into the Bassbreaker and wow! Straight up from the box guitar is set up very good and sounds great! The ceramic LH-100 pickups are actually very nice and luckily for me medium output so one can play ANY musical style. Blues, pop, rock, obviously metal, jazz and I haven't tried any country but I'm confident you can pull that off too. 5 main reasons I bought mine. 1. Reverse headstock provides better response on the EAD strings. 2. The flatter and wider neck feels better and helps play more complicated chords (Ab2/C for example) 3. I prefer "no finish" on the back of the neck and satin finish on the body helps the resonance of the guitar 4. The strings through body design 5. The full scale provides more room in the upper register vs. 24 3/4 scale guitar.

So the M-10 sounds and feels way above its price range and actually looks very good too and doesn't scream metal (visually), the built quality is excellent and also the bolt on neck is recessed so the access to the upper register isn't complicated like on most bolt on guitars. I'm playing for 21 years, I played many different types of guitars, different brands and I'm asking myself why didn't I get a ESP (LTD in this case) earlier. Phenomenal guitar for anybody not just begginers! Another plus, mine weighs only 5.8 lbs with a leather strap! I actually traded a set neck traditional singlecut type of guitar to get this one and I'm not even looking back. It's my number 1 guitar and I'm playing live gigs with her now. I will upgrade the pots and the quick connect wiring in the future, but there's nothing wrong with the stock.

Not bad

Guitar just "feels" small in my hands. Pick ups are good for old school metal, but clean tones are not up to par.

Comments about ESP M10 Electric Guitar:

An excellent guitar. I have over 30 years of playing experience and was blown away by this guitar. I have stepped away from the idea that one needs a top shelf, made in the USA instrument to sound good and have fun. I have had all the above and more and I still buy inefficient 2nd and 3rd tiered guitar simply because they're fun and they sound great. This is no exception. Great for metal and handles dropped tunings equally well. Pickups sound great. If you have a "slightly" decent amp, one could EQ it to sound just about like anything. Would absolutely recommend and buy another. Actually going to buy another in a few minutes.

Comments about ESP M10 Electric Guitar:

I bought this just to have an extra practice guitar around (you can never have enough...right?!). For the price I am really impressed. It sounds great, it's got great action and it's fun to play. I would definitely recommend this guitar to anybody-from novice to pro. I'm not gonna play any venues with it but it is definitely one of my go to guitars at home. You really cant go wrong with an ESP at this price!

this is the first esp ltd I have owned my previous guitar was a Jackson.. I love the feel and the color.. the width of the neck is nice esp for people with not to long fingers the frets being close together allow better ease when playing solos.

Comments about ESP M10 Electric Guitar:

Good, solid, simple guitar for playing metal on. The truss rod & bridge needed some tweaking out of the box, and there's a little bit of fret buzz when the strings are hit hard, but I was able to fix it with a screwdriver & the hex wrench included with the guitar. Anyone concerned about adjusting the truss rod & bridge can bring it to a guitar tech for a setup, but I was able to do it myself with minimal effort (after watching some YouTube videos). Intonation was easy too, all you need is a flat head screwdriver. Eventually I'd like to swap out the plastic nut for a bone one, but it gets the job done. The neck isn't as thin as I expected (which is good), but it's still great for playing metal.

Comments about ESP M10 Electric Guitar:

This guitar, especially at the sale price, is an awesome find and a great deal! I have been playing guitar for 13 years and have to say it's great for anybody, not just beginners. I had an itch for a new guitar and have been writing and recording a lot of metal stuff lately and this guitar is a great fit. Look, feel, and sound are all there. While I plan to put in an emg 81/60 combo down the line, the included picks surely do the job and sound better than expected. So I'm not in such a rush to replace them. Tight, high gain and large sustain. It really gave me the modern metal sound I was looking for, out of the box. I will certainly use not only for playing but for recording. Great buy! If your are a young guitarist, or like me and had solid rock guitars but needed something for your metal stuff, don't hesitate!

Picked this up on sale. It's a great guitar for any new players or anyone looking for a cheap guitar to mess around with. Slapped some Ernie ball power slinkys on it and it's a shredder!

Comments about ESP M10 Electric Guitar:

Before you play it, it will need several adjustments: flat fret board (fret buzz, adjust the truss rod), guitar action was too low, upside down bridge.
Once the guitar is adjusted, with a new set of strings: Great guitar for the price, nice crunchy pickups, fast neck, great for learning or practice. Totally recommended.
