  I purchased this guitar from guitarcenter a few weeks ago, and i absolutely love it. i was originally looking at the ltd models, and i liked the feel, so i went with the higher quality version, and it is definitely pro quality. it has an extremely fast neck, is lightweight, and has a killer tone. recently after i got it, i went back to guitarcenter just to mess around and i picked up the ltd version, and i could tell immediately a difference in feel. it was heavier, had blemishes (from the factory, not from people playing it), and it just didnt feel like the higher quality that the ESP gives. Also, one cannot go wrong with the pickups. holy cow the 81/60 combo sounds absolutely FANTASTIC! The 81 gives a crushing metal tone, while the 60 is more mellow. but dont let this fool you, once you add distortion its like letting the beast out. also, i got it in the snow white finish. that finish is GORGEOUS. i had about half of guitar centers staff looking at it when i took it out of the box, and everyone spread the word "hey you gotta check out this guitar that came in for this guy". it was definitely worth every penny. i'd recommend it to anyone looking for a serious pro quality instrument

  ESP is probably now the most respected brand for quality, innovation, and playability, and this guitar is no exception. I've played it numerous times at my local GC, and I am impressed. Not only is it a huge jump in excellency from it's Ltd abalone cousin, it has huge advantages to a regular LP. Shockingly beautiful finishes, fantastic EMG's that just scream, a faster neck, and a less cumbersome body. I played the one shown in the picture as well as the vintage black finish, and they blew my mind. Albeit the limitations of 22 frets, this is perfect for most rock and dirty blues styles, but I'm not going to say Country or Jazz. The tuning machines are exceptionally good, they don't jump a half step from just one twist. I find it better to have this because it just shows how well capable this thing is to maintain tuned for a long period as well as the stock quality. No need to switch anything. But enough about that, the real charm is it's playability. ESP does a good job to keep it nice and fast while not losing the intensity that comes out of a LP shape. The frets do it good as well as the neck, being well contoured, and not too flat or U shaped. I can't explain, just go out and play this sweet sweet beast.

  I just bought this guitar. Vintage black though. and IT is so amazing and beautiful. It plays so well and feel so comfortable. Im really stoked to play it in its first gig. I play metal and this guitar def owns it. even the hard case is really nice. If you are thinking bout buying this or an LTD EC1000. I would totally say forget the LTD. I played the LTD at GC and thought yup this is my guitar. but the feel alone of the ESP is enough to make you save the extra cash. Also the gotoh locking tuners are pretty sweet. and the EMGs sound amazing. I guess overall i'd have to say this guitar is quality nothing less. def best guitar i have ever played.
