this slide is awesome, it looks very cool, an is so comfortable, the only problem that i have with this slide is: a week after playing with this it gets corrosion in the inside part, thats the only problem that i have (sorry about my poor english vocabulary)
This is the bottom line in guitar slides. Aesthetically, this is the splitting image of a normal guitar slide: smooth, shiny, and slick. Tonally...well, lemme tell you about tonally. Tonally, this is the best slide one can buy. It's got a bright, clear tone that holds up under any amount of distortion. This will play anything from "Breathe" to "Bad Horsie." If you're fix'n to buy a nice guitar slide that will last a while, you're looking at it.
I bought one of these Jim Dunlop Chrome Slides because I was interested in slide guitar (White Stripes, ZZ Top distorted sound). The finish was a nice chrome and the edges were smooth so that it doesn't hurt your fingers. The slide is smooth and didn't have any imperfections I could notice that would hurt slide work across the strings. I use it with a 5 watt tube amp, a Podxt Live, and a Jay Turser Resonator. Its got a nice bright sound to it. If your are looking to get a slide but don't have the time to make one from scratch like the real ones, buy this (no one will notice the difference!).
