Nice, but plugs upside down for right angle plugs
I am just getting into micing my drums, so I really have nothing to compare to, but I like what I hear through my Mackie CFX20 mixer. Depending on how you position the mic, you may need a right angle connector on your cable. As I am looking to buy connectors, I notice the orientation of all the plugs I am looking at are 180 degrees off from where I need them. My plan is to grind down the end of the mic holder which will allow the mic to rotate to the position I need. The pictures above do not show it, but if you loosen the thumb screw the mic separates from the actual mic holder. There may be some high end right angle connectors out there, but if you have a small budget for a set of mics, it doesn't make sense to spend that or more for some connectors.

Experiment With Inexpensive Mics
Mounted on the snare, toms, and bass, these mics sound OK to me. I'll be trying them in a live outdoor venue next week. I think the sound will be satisfactory. If you look at the picture you'll see that the provided clip fits the mic like a glove. But, this specific fit orients the XLR pins in the wrong direction for my right angle XLR cables. So I had to cut the angled face off of the clip. That enabled me to rotate the mic 180 degrees to work properly with my right angle XLR cables. Also, one of the provided rim mounts cracked. I bought an Audix Device clip to replace it. Will probably have to replace the other provided mounts. I'll need more drum mics, will definitely consider another kit of these.

Purchased these to use on my congas and they were even better than I expected. Had to put the mount's upside down to fit but they held on well while playing.
Great mics for the $$

The kick mic is close to an AKG112! The other 3 work well on Snare & toms. Buy a couple decent overheads and you'll have a great start on recording & live work. I really like the kick mic, I've had a NADY Big diaphragm kick mic & this one blows it away. I've made recordings that have been nominated for an Indie Award with these mics. Well worth the price
Sound is too thin.

I bought these because I had to set up 2 drum sets on the same stage. This was so that I could do a quick change over. The build construction was well made. The sound on the other hand was very thin. You had to do too much work to get a decent sound. So, I ended up using my other mics and put in the extra work and return the mics. I'm sure that I could have got a better sound out of them, but I just didn't have the time during soundchecks.
Decent for the price

These mics pack quite the punch, especially the kick mic. I use these on my Cajon set and they're easy to set up. Purchased as SDOTD, I would call these mics a "best value".
