A huge array of whammy effects with MIDI control.
This Digitech Whammy's performance and sound are reminiscent of the original red WH-1 Whammy. All the favorite whammy settings that guitar players covet are available again at the touch of a knob. New Dive Bomb effect simulates a whammy bar pushed all the way to the body of the guitar. Another addition is a MIDI-in jack allowing remote control of effects via MIDI devices. Both type and control are accomplished via MIDI program changes and CC messages, respectively. Wet/Dry outputs are provided. Includes power supply.
DigiTech Whammy Pedal with MIDI Control Includes:
Fresh new sounds and effects for any guitarist's sonic arsenal! Order now.

Anyone for Tweaking?
This pedal is absolutely GREAT for expreimental players. I personally use it to emulate Tom Morello-esque solos and riffs. But, it is great for any player who really wants to embellish their music with any cool/whimsy effects that this pedal can offer. The only thing I have to complain about is it's axis in the actual pedal. It is just a bit too tight and is hard to get long risen/dropped octave passages in your songs. All in all, a really great buy and very helpful for anyone out there who likes Rage Against the Machine or The White Stripes.

Digitech Whammy
The digitech Whammy is definitely a great pedal to own. The best feature of this pedal is the Drop Tune function. When you are writing a song, you can test different tunings out without actually wasting time and tuning down a whole step. I also really like the Detune funtion. It gives your guitar that "Orgy" sound that can be found on their "Vapor Transmission Album. The only thing that I dislike about this pedal is the price. If it was little less expensive I think more people would own it.

The Best Pedal I Own.
This is a great pedal. Actually, It's amazing!
I've got 12 pedals, like flanger, phaser, distortion, delay, reverb, wah but this is the best! I use it all the time, I feel naked playing without my whammy. It's not a deifficult choice - Buy it! It's worth every cent!

Nice, but can be problematic
I really enjoy using this pedal, but I must say that it can be hard to get things "right on" when doing pitch changes. If you set it to go up an octave, for instance, it can be hard to get it to go up EXACTLY an octave from heel to toe.

Great Pedal... Worth the hefty price
the title says it all. this is an excellent pedal for anyone that likes to play old van halen or other music where a whammy bar would be needed, but you dont want to have to worrry about the wammy bar screwing with your tuning. the main reason i bought this is because my band was going to cover audioslaves "like a stone." great pedal buy now.
