Description
When looping, timing is everything; JamSync takes care of it. JamSync automatically synchronizes with another Express XT or JamMan Solo XT allowing you to create independent yet perfectly synchronized loops. Using JamSync you can build a custom multi-track looper or build loops with your band. The Express XT is the first looper to feature DigiTech's new Silent Clear feature. The Express XT automatically recognizes when you press to clear the loop and stops the loop from playing through your amp. Silent Clear saves you from reaching over to turn down your amp or your looper while you clear it.
The Express XT is an incredibly simple looper and easy to use. It works just like every other looper with record, stop, play, unlimited overdubs, and undo. We made it even easier with a dedicated LED per status. The Express XT can run on a 9V battery (not included) and works right out of the box. You don't have to spend any more of your hard earned money to get a power supply just to use it when you get home. Not only is the Express XT the best, most full-featured compact looper in the world, it's also the most affordable.

Can't beat this looper for the money
I was looking for a simple looper pedal just for messing around at home. I gave a long look at the Ditto and heard a lot of good things about that pedal. I was just about to pull the trigger on that one until I saw the JamMan Express and I jumped on it. This pedal is super easy to use and the 3 LEDs leave no doubt about which mode I'm in. I can lay down several layers and they sync up very nice. I like the fact that I can use an outside power source rather than simple battery power. (I hate replacing batteries in pedals!) The stereo option is great, though I haven't taken advantage of it yet. It doesn't appear to color my sound at all. I'm very pleased with this inexpensive looper pedal and it has proven to be a great purchase for me. Well worth the small price of admission.

Good features and a seriously bad one.
I am very experienced in used loopers. This one has excellent sound quality and streamlined interface. Love the deletion without partial playing of the loop. Works well from recording to immediate playing a loop. What invalidates it for live playing, IMHO, is that there is an initial noticeable delay before playing a saved loop. As I say I have a lot of experience with loopers and doubting myself I compared side to side to a Digitech Jammman Solo and a Boss RC3, both of which I own, and every time I came back to the Express XT the same happened. Good to use at home to practice over a loop, or live if you don't save and try to replay. Otherwise, stick to another model.

Simple but effective, I am using it together with the sdrum pedal. Digitech did a great job with the jamsync. Looper sound quality its really good, easy to use and plenty of time to record. I just wish it had some sort of way to save the loops to my computer. How I am getting around that its by going from looper to drum machine then into a tc wire tap( from here I can save a copy in my phone using the app). Problem solved.

I bought this for home use. The bottom cover is a very tight fit. At first, I thought there was no provision for battery use. After checking the manual I installed a brand new battery and started having fun. The pedal soon froze and had to be rebooted. This happened several times. I finally grew tired of this and packaged the pedal for return.

Nice simple looper, very easy to use. Status lights (record, dub, play) very helpful. Have a JamMan Solo XT with the extra three button switch on my big board for serious looping, this is a great easy portable unit for on-the-fly jamming and composition. Expected delivery was several business days, GC delivered in ONE DAY!! Good job Guys! Thank you, - Yames

Did Guitar Center sell me a "new" unit but ship me a used one? The Digitech JamMan Express XT was on sale, and the website said it was a new unit. I received it yesterday, opened the UPS box and found the JamMan unit, wrapped in bubble wrap, but with NO factory box, NO warranty information, NO quick-start guide, NO user's manual. Nothing except the unit which had a bar code taped on the bottom with blue painter's tape. Either Digitech has the worst factory packaging imaginable, or Guitar Center sent me something that had been opened and the box and everything else was discarded. What's up Guitar Center? This is my first looper, and it would have been nice to have just a little bit of printed information to get started with. Just a few days before I ordered this, I passed on the opportunity to buy a used JamMan (for a little less money) because I wanted new in a box with warranty. What's up, Guitar Center? Is this the last time I order something from you?
