High voltage for high performance!

With its stereo I/O, the DigiTech HardWire CR-7 is a chorus pedal offering you 7 chorus effects, ranging from Multivoice and Studio to Boutique, Vintage, and more. Precision control knobs include speed, depth, level and type. True bypass and high-voltage operation are standard features on the DigiTech CR-7 pedal.

The DigiTech HardWire pedals series represents DigiTech's commitment to quality and attention to subtle details. In addition to technical enhancements like true bypass and high voltage operation, all HardWire pedals feature rugged, all-metal construction, a wide, stage-stable footprint, durable, custom-machined metal knobs for a sure grip, and precision potentiometers that guarantee knob positions will stay intact.

The rugged, durable construction of DigiTech Extreme Performance Pedals is just the beginning. Inside each DigiTech HardWire pedal are technological features that serious players require — all updated and improved to their utmost. True bypass preserves the purity of your original tone as signal passes through the pedal, and high voltage operation further protects your sound by eliminating clipping and other signal degradation caused by power drain.

With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by a guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal — normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply. HardWire pedals incorporate circuitry that increases the operating voltage headroom above that of the typical pedal. As such, HardWire pedals benefit a wider range of guitars and are also at home in an amplifier's effects loop.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

NEW REVIEW - Great Pedal

This is a good pedal. This pedal like the other Hardwire pedals I own has a very wide range of settings for many different styles of music. From subtle to drastic it will enhance you classic rock or blues tones for a well rounded sound. The fact that the pedal is true bypass is a major plus.

*** A great made pedal to own***

I was looking for a pedal that could change the style of Chorus functions. Personally this pedal and other Hardwire line are well made. I play bass so... This pedal sure brings out the sound comparing to other chorus pedals. You try this one and will just blown you away. I had to sell my old pedal because it sounded so wimpy when you go back and compare the both.(CH-1) Having 7 chorus effect, that's where the money is. # Chorus Types * Studio— Studio quality chorus with a wide stereo image. * Multi – True 8-voice chorus; the lushest chorusing found in a pedal. * Modern – Rich and smooth dual voice chorusing. * Boutique – Special analog circuits that produce rich but quirky chorus sounds. * Analog – Distinct, organic bucket-brigade chorus. * Jazz – Single voice chorus with a dry output. * Vintage – Warm and versatile from subtle to euphoric. and the Precision control knobs. You could feel the details what your adjusting.

True Bypass Chorus

The deciding factor for me on this pedal when compared to boss super chorus, was not only the sound, but the true bypass. I use an American, strat deluxe on a clean, tube, fender reverb, I love not changing my tone when not using the pedal. I also enjoy using this pedal with the Valve Distortion Hardwire, and the Pork Loin pedal as well when I'm in the 'blue' mood. In fact, the only style I haven't used this pedal with is classical guitar, for obvious reasons. Overall great pedal with true bypass, thank you digitech.

Pefect for my needs!

Great Chorus pedal! I got this to replace a Boss CH-1. The difference is huge. I love the different Chorus types. Analog almost has a slight phase to it. Some subtle Analog can beef up any tone. The build quality is outstanding and true bypass makes my tone shine through. I was noticing a huge loss of tone with my Boss pedals.

Pedal falls apart as it comes out of the box

I opened the box. The pedal falls apart as it comes out of the box. The top left knob fell right off the first time I touched it. It ruined Christmas...maybe I'll have better luck next year. Pedal sounds very nice once we got one that works.
