Product Information

World-class Lexicon reverbs and innovative features.

The DigiTech RV-7 is a reverb pedal with innovative features like Liveliness Control. Add world-class Lexicon reverbs like room, plate, reverse, spring, modulated, gated, and hall, and this HardWire Series DigiTech pedal is in a class all its own.

The DigiTech HardWire pedal series represents DigiTech's commitment to quality and attention to subtle details. In addition to technical enhancements like true bypass and high-voltage operation, all DigiTech HardWire effects pedals feature rugged, all-metal construction, a wide, stage-stable footprint, durable, custom-machined metal knobs for a sure grip, and precision potentiometers that guarantee knob positions will stay intact.

The rugged, durable construction of DigiTech Extreme Performance pedals is just the beginning. Inside each HardWire pedal are technological features that serious players require — all updated and improved to their utmost capacity. True bypass preserves the purity of your original tone as signal passes through the pedal, and high voltage operation further protects your sound by eliminating clipping and other signal degradation caused by power drain.

With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by a guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal — normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply. DigiTech HardWire pedals incorporate circuitry that increases the operating voltage headroom above that of the typical effects pedal. As such, DigiTech HardWire pedals benefit a wider range of guitars and are also at home in an amplifier's effects loop.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

Bravo Digitech!

This is the best sounding reverb pedal that I've ever heard or played. I've been playing for over 30 years, and I've had several of the Boss reverbs and Line 6, and Electro Harmonix, and this one beats them all. First, it's got the best and most natural sounding spring reverb of any pedal. Second, it adds NO noise or hiss to the signal path. This things is the BEST. Make sure that you invest in the power adapter, though. This thing eats batteries pretty fast.

Gets the job done

I'm playing with a Les Paul to a Boogie or POS Marshall TSL and this pedal takes up where the reverb lacks on these amps. Best part is that if I'm using my guitars with active pick ups, I lose no tone through this pedal. The reverb is very decent and very adjustable for the situation at hand along with truly clear bypass. I prefer plate on all the time mixed with my amps spring reverb on like 3. Currently looking for the right delay to accent this piece.

Good job, Digitech

This is a great pedal... sounds really good, built well, smartly designed -- something that seems to be new for this company. As far as the quality of the reverb itself... it definitely bests the Boss RV-5, but still seems to fall a bit short of EHX's Holy Grail series. This is, of course, completely subjective.

lush and warm

Now I'm a Boss fan and I love most of their products - but in store I compared the Hardwire reverb next to the Boss digital reverb and I can tell hands down the Hardwire reverb sounds the best as far the quality of decay and warmth goes. I found the Boss digital reverb to be somewhat clanky and cheap. So I would totally recommend this Hardwire reverb.

One Trick Pony, but that one Trick is Amazing!

In all honesty, I bought this puppy simply due to the reverse mode. Although it is a reverb pedal, none of the other verbs on it sound all that good. If you are looking for a REAL reverb, grab Boss' Reverb, but if you are looking for some crazy swell reverse sound, look no further and buy this pedal. It will change you...
