Fish & Chips Always Sounds Good
What is all this talk of "cheap plastic, so I don't expect it to last"? This is a pretty solid little sound tank and I expect that it will last a long time on my pedalboard. EQ is a small, but powerful effect, and that's what this pedal is: small and powerful. Because it's small, it's easy to add to a pedalboard rig. About 3.5 X 2.75 inches. And it's easy to pull of the rubber on the bottom if you want to strap on some velcro. And there's a standard power connection for your power supply. Since the button is a bit smaller than most stomp buttons, the bright red LED light lets you know when it's turned on. I've found that this pedal does EQ very well for my guitar playing. There is no added noise or switch noise. The EQ sliders keep their place and snap to the middle for easy reference. The dots they put on the sides are actually useful too. The main level slider can be used to compensate for an overall raised or lowered volume from EQing or as a volume booster for solos. I've used this equally for EQ and boosting. I've found this most useful cleaning up my wah's harsh high end sound. To do this I don't have to move the sliders very far. It ends up looking like a little caterpillar. So this thing does have a lot of boosting or cutting power. I don't see any logical reason to pay a lot more for a pedal that has the same exact functions in a much larger footprint. Also I place mine after my distortion and before my delay. I've seen EQs in lots of different places in pedal boards, so it depends on how you're shaping your sound.

Doesn't last too long
The pedal sounded great for about a month until I plugged into my signal chain and started getting a terrible buzz from this pedal. Eventually the controls stopped working so I trashed it. Good sounding while it worked though

Got this pedal on sale. Love it. Have some big name pedals and some budget friendly ones. Did my research on all of them, and found this one to fit great. It's a good buy, and when it eventually goes, a good re-buy.

I haven't used the unit much since just recently picking it up. Setting it up at home was easy and it works great! Don't know how the hard plastic housing will hold up if dropped, but it feels sturdy. Also don't know how much abuse the on/off button will absorb over time, but it's nevertheless a GREAT deal for the price!
Compares favorably with Boss EQ

Sweet! Does everything my Boss does for a fraction of the cost. I think the Boss has a buffer, not sure about this one. Highly recommend. GC shipping is slow tho.
