Basic amp sounds like what you want with right processing. Very clean and simple inside, I bought this to replace Behringer, should last as long. Works at 2 ohms but don't push it on low end, I use B52-4000 for that.

  • Doesnt do near what it says. Very weak

I bout one of these to run on a carvin sub that was 1600 peak. ran it bridged and it wouldnt push at all hardly without clipping. Had a sound enginneer come in and said this is one of the worst amps crown has prroduced. Crown is a good amp, but this particular model is a flop.

I bought this amp, and doing events with it without a carrying case. After one event, I was pushing my cart (loaded with 2 speakers/turntables/mixer/THIS CROWN AMP) onto an elevator and the wheel caught to gap at the elevator and my cart stopped instantly throwing my mixer and this amp smashing to the marble floor. The fall bent the metal casing this amp is built into. I got home, hook everything up and WOW!! IT STILL WORK AMAZING! No volume or static issues after that nasty fall. This CROWN is durable, and pushes my 2 15' JBL with ease. I also left it on over night after performing all evening and came back to the venue the next day find it running cool and quiet. Don't Hesitate to purchase a CROWN.

I bought this amplifier about a month ago, and I am happy with it so far. Very Powerful in Bridge mode. Huge bass response. I love the quality. The only thing I wish different was pre outs on the amplifier so I can daisy chain more together (for subs) instead of just one input, like the Xti models.
