First time Ukulele player
I love that it's small yet produces a rich sound. I'm excited to learn how to play and to use it as an additional service to my children's entertainment business. Kid's love sing a longs!

Low Quality Construction
I needed to pick up a ukulele to teach a class in a few months. Thought I'd go for this since it's certainly not the cheapest ukulele and it's from a reputable brand. Got home, tuned it up to standard tuning, and the top split from the body due to the tension from the strings at the bridge. I will obviously be returning it. A bit disappointed since I had a good time learning first chords and some easy songs.

I have a 15 CM and 21C for my older kids. Got this one when it's on sale for my youngest one. The U1M sounds a bit clear and sweeter than the 15CM. Highly recommend to new ukulele players.

Wanted to learn the ukulele and this is a beautiful instrument! Great rich sound, beautiful construction. Can't speak to how long it holds its tune yet, but overall very satisfied (and at a great sale price right now).
I would buy this again.

It is very great for the beginner ukulele players and do suggest buying better premium strings as it goes out of tune fast with the ones that come on it.

I've owned this uke for over 7 years. Still plays great like the day I bought it. I recommend it to everyone as a first uke for sure.

What's the difference between this ukulele, U1-M, and the 15 CM, both by Cordoba? Is one particularly better that the other? Like does one buzz too much? Or doesn't sound like the "average ukulele" as much as the other? Does the $10 difference matter? I'm curious about which is a better product. Thank you for your time.
At this price point, $10 won't make too much of a difference. Most of the time the differences are minor if there are any at all.submitted7 years ago

Hello, I wanted to buy this ukulele for my sister for Christmas but wasn't sure what kind of packaging it came in and if I need to buy a separate case for the ukulele/ if there was another way people stored their ukulele. Thanks!
This comes in a standard cardboard box, packed to protect the instrument during transit. This does not come with a case or gig bag and will need to be purchased separately.
