Speaker appearance is of a quality product. I soldered in both speakers into an old KLH 32 bookshelf system I bought in 1970. The speakers are much better than what came out of the original cabinet. and the sound is terrific.I have played Live DVDs through the system and the realism of "being there", due to the quadraphonic amp I'm using is amazing. The replacement speakers I put in the front pair pale by comparison(Oaktron, 2001). Thanks so much- I'm glad speaker technology has improved as much as it has!
