  • Great tube sound.

As reviewed by DaYooper on 11/1/2006

Want to get that classic Tube amp sound without shilling out a grand for the real thing? This is it! I fell in love with the tone the BD-2 puts out the first time I plugged my Les paul in to it. I was running it through a modern epiphone 35w amp and the sound was tremendous. I really can't wait to get my hands on one of my very own. This will be a pedal that forever stays in my effects chain.

  • The BD-2 roxxors

As reviewed by Shim on 10/23/2006

THIS PEDAL IS AMAZING! I bought mine about 1 and a half months ago at a local music store and I loved it ever since it came out of the nice little box it comes in. The BD-2 is pretty straight forward it has an input, output, tone knob, gain knob, and a volume knob, this makes it incredibly easy to use and since its only my third pedal thats a good thing. Its also extremely durable, you can stamp on it, drop it down stairs, or spill a beer on it and it will still work lol (yeah I have acidentally done all three :P). As for its sound, its wonderful it makes almost any modern amp sound like a nice vintage amp and its got just the right amout of overdrive for anything thats bluesy or classic rock. It can last pretty long with a battery too, I only had to change it once since I got it and I use it all the time. All in all the BD-2 is one of the best pedals I have ever got my hands on. I play with a fender mexican strat through an old 65 watt fender amp and the combination of those with the blues driver just makes it a perfact combination for my taste :) GET THE PEDAL!!! You won't regret it!!! =D

  • Boss BD-2

As reviewed by CDOG on 10/19/2006

I recently borrowed the Boss BD-2 Blues Driver Pedal from a good friend. Why is he a good friend?Because anybody that loans out their Boss BD-2 is either crazy or a valued friend indeed.LOL I've had the pedal for a month when I was only suppossed to keep it for a week.I really like this pedal for a good blues rock tone with just enough balls to get your point across.I get some nice hendrixish tones with it using my G&L S-500 strat through my Peavey classic 50.I run the gain at about 2'oclock and tone at 12ish, level set about 12ish as well.Once my buddy comes to repo his I'll have to get one, you should too.
