Great Pedal For Blues
This pedal is great for blues and classic rock hence the name Boss Blues Driver. This pedal works realy well for pushing an already overdriven amp off the edge or for boosting your amp as is. It gives a very good SRV tone and also many other artists that you can emulate. The pedal is also built like a tank, I doubt it will ever break from a heavy stomp or even a fall. So if you want a great pedal thats great for blues get the BOSS Blues Driver.

Drove It Out the Door
Used it with Les Pauls and teles through the 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb. It's buzzy and thin sounding. I could not get a useful sound out of it and took it back and went with Ibanez Turbo Tube Screamer.

I have this pedal chained behind a green rhino. The two go together really well for aggressive sound, or sounds good on its own.
A must have on the pedal board.

After literally hundreds of shows, missing out on THE must have driver pedal, I'm kicking myself for not getting one sooner. It provides the authentic drive that fits my Tele and Gretsch, which are my primary gigging guitars. I run a very basic setup into Fender tube amps. Along with my analog delay and compressor, I can achieve what I need - I'd also recommend a noise gate as a simple cheap solution to the hum that will occur when opening up both the comp & driver. (band mates can be babies about that ;-) ). #sweepstakes

Its just a solid pedal. There's stuff out there that sounds better, but this will get the job done for the price. I don't think I would ever sell this because I thinks its pretty versatile and a good drive to have in the kit. I like to run it low gain and it makes for a pretty transparent drive pedal. You can't beat it for the money.
A classic overdrive that should be in everyone's toolkit.

#sweepstakes What could be better than one of the most classic overdrive pedals? Buying it to stack with your other favorite overdrive, of course!
I would absolutely purchase this product again
