  • I'd like to see some improvements

    As reviewed by on 9/22/2006

I got this switcher used so for the price I am happy with it. However, if I were buying a new one I would probably try to find one that takes a power adapter. It's annoying to have my whole board on power and then have to unplug this each time I am done. Note that this is an A/B only, you cannot run both outputs at the same time. I use it to select between my clean and reverb channels on my Fender Deluxe Reverb RI and it works fine for that. You can also use it to select between two inputs. This switch doesn't feel as robust as most Boss products, but time will tell.

  • Works great!

As reviewed by Glen Haworth on 8/5/2009

I needed an inexpensive way to switch between my acoustic and electric guitars during leading of worship. I used to unplug and plug each guitar into my direct box. But this this little box, the process is so much easier! And it worked great during its first week-long conference test. I recommend it!

  • Boss AB-2 Box

As reviewed by Sami on 11/21/2008

Advantages: CHEAP, clean, and quiet. Disadvantages: Only runs on 2 AAA batteries, and you must unplug the cable from the input/output jack to prevent the battery from dying. Recommendations: Great tool for studio and/or home use. If you are on the road, you might want to consider the Whirlwind or Lehle switchers.
