The Behringer DEQ2496 is a a very good processor for my loudspeaker system. The Behringer DEQ2496 has lots of features and costs about the same as it would for me to buy 4 graphic eq's I would need if I didnt have it.
This unit is an affordable 24-bit/96 kHz mastering processor. I purchased this unit to fee up some of my Roland 2480?s effects processors, but then I also started using it with my small PA system. The unit is good for adding more punch and finding the sources of feedback so that you can eliminate it. The unit helps eliminate undesired frequencies and noise enhancing the overall sound of the PA. The DEQ2496 is built well but I would recommend storing it in a portable rack container in order to prevent damaging it while traveling. Overall it is a very good piece of equipment that is available at an affordable price.
It worked but not out of the box. Had to re-seat a chip in a socket.
But really sounds phenominal and is extremely powerful for the little cash it costs. had it up hours and hours and no problems. manual could be better written but you will understand the unit after playing with it.
