Great Mic

So far I've used this mic on guitar and bass cabs, vocals, and acoustic guitars. It excels at all of these for the price. Crystal clear on the guitar cab, even sound on the full range of the bass, silky smooth on vocals, and clean and full bodied on the acoustic guitar. The one drawback to this mic is that it is downright terrible for brass and woodwind instruments. But for everything else listed above, you will be very pleased with what you get for how little you paid.
Definitly a great mic for a home studio.

I've had this mic for about almost a year and I must say, it sounds real good!...I had the AT4045 which unfortunely I sold it but, as far as having a mic in your home studio, I would choose the AT3035 cause it balances the sound and quality much better especially when using "pro tools le 6.9" and my mic preamp...and the price, well what can I say...good money for my investment!....If you're looking to not spend much but, yet purcahse a quality mic...I would advise you to get the AT3035

This mic is awesome, hands down. I can't say that I've actually gone and A/B'ed it with a neuman or rode or others but I have with my previous mxl 990!!(it was quite entertaining) This is easily the best value out there. The only product that ever competed with this when deciding what mic to buy was the studio projects B3, but I heard that it had a somewhat bright sound, and the at3035 was much more popular. The at3035 actually has a pretty warm sound (using the board pres as well). The clarity is perfect for the price range! If you are trying to decide between this and others just get this one! You won't be sorry!
Excellent Mic!!

I bought this mic 2 weeks ago and it really works. I have tried other mics but none of them work like this one. Vocals come out clear and with a very good quality. Recommended for the limited budget!

I use the AT3035 for announcer work for my church and for podcasting. It does a great job on both. Rich lows and good highs make it a great choice for podcasting. I strongly suggest you purchase a pop filter with this mic. It really picks up those pesky "P's". I have the AT3035 matched with a Alesis MultiMix8 FireWire mixer board and the pair really make my amateur voice sound professional.

This is microphone picks up lots of detail. It is clear and distinct. I wouldnt say this is the best microphone out there but for the price range it is a contender. I've tried AKG and Shure microphones before which sound great also. But I have decided to use this one as my more permanent microphone because it does the best job for the price. You will definitely get what you pay for on this one.
