These are much better than a C clamp for hanging lights on stands or trussing. O clamps also do not mark up or dent the paint job on the stand or truss.
This o-clamp is excellent for attaching lights onto truss bars without leaving marks, and guitar center price matched them with no questions asked. Beware of the wingnuts though. For lights like the Colorstrip that use a narrow L-shaped metal plate to attach to the clamps, the provided wingnut's "wings" are too wide and won't allow you to attach them. Go to any home improvement store and pick up a pair of black 10mm nuts for a buck and they'll work like a charm!
