The Kuassa Efektor DS3603 Distortion is part of the Efektor line of plugins which consists of the most requested effect units. The DS3603 Distortion clips the input signal by increasing it to maximum overload, adding musical harmonics and overtones while still maintaining the characteristics of the original sound, or changing it completely. The Efektor Distortion puts full control in your hands that are ideal for heavy metal guitars or abrasive, pounding industrial drums. The Kuassa DS3603 includes five types of distortion. Lead Distortion provides ringing mids for screaming leads, Heavy Distortion penetrates from mild to heavy, Metal Distortion delivers dark and thick solid metal, Classic Distortion offers singing leads and hard rock sounds and Pro Distortion gives players a fat sharp edge to their tone.
