The Jimmy Page Telecaster I Artist Signature Series I Fender

Fender

collapse expand iconDescription

The Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster electric guitar is a meticulous recreation of Jimmy Page's legendary instrument. When Led Zeppelin burst onto the scene in 1969, Page cemented his status as a rock god with a single guitar: his Fender Telecaster. Fender has painstakingly recreated every detail of Page's iconic "mirror guitar," from its distinctive artwork to its roaring single-coil pickups. The Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster lets you summon the tone and style that shaped rock and roll.

Custom Pickups Channel a Rock Icon's Sound

The Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster is loaded with two custom-wound Jimmy Page single-coil Telecaster pickups that reproduce the bark and bite of Page's original instrument. Selected specifically by Page to match his guitar's tone, these pickups growl with vintage-inspired character and clarity. Simply flip the 3-way selector to access both pickups together or each individually and unleash the sound that fueled Led Zeppelin's debut album.

One-of-a-Kind Style Honors a Legend

Fender's artists painstakingly reproduced Page's famous "mirror guitar" artwork on the alder body of the Jimmy Page Telecaster. Its gleaming urethane finish creates an eye-catching collage inspired by Page's original design. Combined with a comfortably worn maple neck sporting a rounded thin D profile, the Jimmy Page Telecaster looks and feels like a long-lost classic.

Vintage Specs and Modern Playability

While the Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster nods to the past, it also delivers thoroughly modern playability. Its 7.25"-radius rosewood fingerboard and medium jumbo frets make bending strings and fretting chords a breeze. A vintage-style bridge with threaded saddles provides rock-solid tuning stability and intonation. This unique blend of vintage vibe and contemporary comfort lets the Jimmy Page Telecaster span musical genres with ease.

Includes Premium Gig Bag and Strap

The Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster comes with a custom gig bag and strap as an homage to the rock icon who inspired it. The included "Whole Lotta Tele" strap and gig bag feature Page's iconic artwork, providing a stylish way to transport and showcase your new instrument.

The neck is very chunky, it feels payed in straight out of the case. The sound of the pickups are awesome. It comes in a very nice retro styled case. I cannot recommend this guitar enough if you want that early 60s feel.

Guitar is great! However the fender guitar case has a 8in tear in the tolex covering. This is a real problem when you buy things on-line. It shows fenders quality control sucks. I found no damage to shipping boxes,so damage to guitar case was done at fender,no one noticed it,I didn't see it until I turned the case over to look at it,The damage is on the bottom of the case...

  • Lots of cosmetic issues but well worth it

I love the think neck on this guitar, very hard to find in a tele with good pickups. It's a tapered so it does get a little wide up at 12 but besides that I can wrap my thumb around the entire neck. It is almost impossible to create any buzz with this guitar it's amazing. Pickups sound amazing. The only complaints I have are that I had to loosen the screws to my pick guard because the guard was bunching up and almost touching the strings. The film under the pick could have been put on a lot better. Fret sprouts is terrible on this guitar, I will have to go get it worked on. And the back of the neck is so smooth that no air can get into the pockets so you get crazy friction but you can easily solve this by taking some 400 gain sand paper to the back of the neck, very lightly. All problems are cosmetic and nothing that can't be fixed but this is a very expensive guitar.

  • A Jimmy Page classic!

I loved the tone of this guitar played by Page in the '67-'68 Yardbirds and early Zep in '69, so I couldn't resist it. It feels great to play and a change of pace from my Les Paul. I love it. In my mnd it is a piece of history. I only regret I never knew Fender reissued the Jeff Beck Esquire in 2006. I want one of those too. At any rate I can't put this guitar down.

I've always been a fan of The Yardbirds especially with Jeff Beck. But also liked Page's time with the band. And I've always loved telecasters. So when I saw this tribute guitar, I decided to buy it. The guitar is well made and I particularly love the neck. Great feel. And the option of top loading or through the body stringing is what I liked about what the '59 offered. The finish and paint job is nice. The pick ups are nice. Overall, a fun guitar.
