A Bright Pair of Hi-Hats With a Trusty “Chick”
The I Series hi-hat cymbals offer a classic hat sound at a highly affordable price. The medium-thin top is extra sensitive and bright, perfect for practicing new sticking patterns. The medium-weight bottom ensures a clean "chick" when closed. No starter kit is complete without a pair of hats, and these cymbals are an excellent choice for new players, students and drummers on a budget. With an emphasis on versatility, these hats are designed to accompany the drummer into any genre they choose—or create.Thinner Design for Evocative, Inspiring Sounds
Taken from Ilham, the Turkish word for inspiration, the Zildjian I Series is designed to inspire new players and students with more expressive sounds. Zildjian accomplishes this change by using thinner weights than in previous entry-level series. That means these cymbals are washier and more emotive, giving players new dimensions to explore while searching for their personal style.Zildjian Craftsmanship at an Affordable Price
While the price makes the I Series accessible to first-time drummers, these cymbals are still made in the USA at the same factory as legendary K and A Zildjian lines, using many of the same techniques passed down for hundreds of years. The process starts with B8 sheet bronze, which is precision-hammered by machine and lathed fully from bell to edge. The I Series also includes models with experimental touches from pro-level lines, like sound holes and extra hammering.Modern Series With Classic Looks
When it comes off the line, each cymbal in the I Series is polished to a bright finish—brilliant enough to make an impression without being too reflective. It’s then stamped with the “i” logo, which is modeled on the cursive “i” in the Zildjian logo known all over the world. These touches, along with the official stamp along the edge, confirm that these affordable cymbals are authentic Zildjian, through and through.

I was looking for a pair of cheap but good hi hats. Found these for a manageable price, and they're not bad. Would've preferred A custom, but that's way out of my price range. A little darker than S and A. In the future, I will try some S.
These hihats made my friend's year

Bro, my homie has this old drumkit that can hold a tune, and that's about it. The hihats were garbage though! Doing what I could to extract from his drummer knowledge without giving away that I was getting him hihats was tough. Homie about lost it when he saw these puppies! His hihats went from being an ignored part of his drum kit to being his favorite, and that first hit was so crisp I had goosebumps, yo. For just two cymbals, I'm really surprised just how many sounds he can get out of them; the range is awesome! Long story short, he loves them, and they are audibly better (like 200% better).
The sound is wonderful - not like tin, more whole. Thanks!
