I actually would have never tried this pick but as fate would have it i was in a bad car wreck. I broke my right wrist, right thumb, tore cart in wrist, and ripped nerves and ten in my thumb. Sounds fun huh? This was a month ago so as you can imagine it was killing me not being able to play but i couldnt hold a pick and my fingers were not strong enough to sound decent so I started to look for other alternatives. In my determination I stummbled across this. I actually use this with the ring on my middle finger and the pick pinched between my index and middle finger. It works awesome. It allows me to keep playing despite my injuries. I have been playing with it for about 10 hours and I dont see any wear to the pick like the other reviews but in my condition im not really beating it to death either. I think this is a great tool. It may not be for everyone but It has kept my spirits high and allowed me to continue doing what I love.

It's a need little item and I love the way it stays in the same place. The only problem I have with them is that the one's I purchased were said to be meduim but they are too long for me. They could use being about 1/4" to 3/8" shorter. This would put the pick in a comfortable position. The add needs information on how to check for size before you purchase.

I LOVE THIS PICK!!

By Denise

from Alexandria, VA

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

It's like having a "pick on a leash"! The only way to lose it is to take it off and leave it at the gig. And, the only improvement I can think of is that they produce them in a wider variety of guages, as I tend to use slightly thinner picks, (usually Dunlop's .60mm) Awesome product!

What a great idea

By Tommy

from Minneapolis, Mn

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

I like it. I always have had a problem holding on to my pick because of a light touch. Now there is no way I can drop it. The pick stays in position. Only reason it doesn't get five stars is it will take a long time to get used to. It slows me down on up stroke ...for now.

Just What The Doctor Ordered!!

By Douglas Seifert

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

I am 58 years old and have arthritis in my hands and it's difficult to hold a regular pick. This crazy looking thing works. Made in the USA and it does what it claims to do, that's an A+ the way I see it. I can't find a website, or I would tell them what I think. Great product.

Good if you wear it differant

By caulin sheridan

from carrabelle, florida

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

This is an awesome pick it takes a minute to get use to though and its slowed down on my up stroke but just wear it on your middle finger if you want to pick fast like herman li or Ynwie Malmsteen so all around awesome pick just wear it on your middle finger to straighten it out and grab with your thumb index and ring finger for maximum control.

wonderfull

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

ok This pick is the best thing i've ever picked up-no jokes Personally I think it is a tad too long. I have large hands and it's still a little long, but I guess that gives you more freedom. -Second- the hardest thing is figuring out how to hold it. once you are holding it properly it feels so good. -Third- needs more gauge variety!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great for those who can't hold on to their picks

By Martin

from Lake Havasu City, AZ

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

Every time I switch from pick to finger playing I drop my pick and it seems to fall into an alternate universe where I can't find it until my dog gets that sly look on her face and I know she's planning on swallowing it and taking me to the poor house. This pick works just as I hoped it would. The pick is always where I need it to be. I may never use a regular pick again.

Great concept but needs improvement

By Deborah

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

I think the concept is good but for women or men with small hands, it's too big and bulky making it uncomfortable to hold and stay on the hand. These need to come in different sizes to accommodate all hand sizes.

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

I have nerve damage that doesn't allow me to grasp my pick firmly enough to not have it slip away or just simply spin around between my finger and thumb. This literally puts the pick in the exact place I need it.

Only downside: when playing harder it still spins just a little bit.

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

Great idea but not made very strong. The pick started turning to powder immediately! It left a powder residue beneath my strings and on the pick guard. Then after watching the pick shrink from oval shape to a dull picking edge it split down the middle rendering it useless. If the makers expect this idea to mature it's going to have to be made of stronger pick material.

    A lifesaver for me.

    By Mike Carey

    from Etters, Pa.

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

Lately I've had trouble holding a regular pick for veery long. About 4 or 5 songs into a set, I get cramps and pain in the 2 middle fingers of my right hand and pain going down to the wrist. I tried many other picks, including thumb picks. The thumb pick wasn't too bad for straight strumming with a downstroke only, but was useless for individual note picking or backstrokes unless I gripped it like a regular pick. But, tht means pain again. I bought this pick and can play a whole set with no pain at all. If I end up having surgery on my wrist, I'm sure I'll be able to return to playing sooner with this pick. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is, they need more variety. Different gauges and it can crack at the thinnest point where it's molded onto the rubber. Anyone who says they have big hands and that it's still too long, really doesn't have big hands. I have BIG hands and it only fits comfortably on my index finger. It's just the right length on that finger. I don't have to grip it tightly to keep it from slipping. I love it !!!

    Really 3.75 stars,

    By Denise Gauthier

    from Fairfax, VA

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

The design is really out of the box. A little grip issue drives me in search of the un-droppable pick. I've tried so many that if I stacked (horizontally) the useless ones on top of each other I'd at least make it to the next county. This is droppable, though at least not to the floor; which is helpful with the humility factor. One could still lose control of the pick. I found it useful for certain types of playing and recommend you give it a go. I mean after all it's only a pick...

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

I struggle to hold a pick. It tends to spin in my hand and I sometimes drop it. This pick ends all of that. It is easy to hold, balancing nicely. It allows me to concentrate on my strum patterns and chord changes. Definitely with it.

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:

Pick literally started deteriorating and warping within minutes of using it on 9 gauge strings. It left pick debris on and around my pick ups. Hopefully they will let me return this. At about $3 per pick, it's just money down the drain. Also, medium (the only size they were currently selling), is too big for average size hands, and you sort of have to bend the black rubber part attached to the pick when you hold it. If they can find a way to make it adjustable, and use higher quality material so it lasts more than half a song, this might be a cool product.

The shape of the pick is nice and overall its comfortable. I played half a song and the pick was so destroyed I had to stop and grab a different pick. Stick with brain picks they are cheaper and last.
