Excellent Guitar for the Price. Bright Tone.
This is my 2nd guitar and an upgrade from my first very low quality instrument, the "Gibson" Maestro (purchased as a package from another retailer for $60). The PAC112V is very comfortable to play. It came setup well, right out of the box, and it keeps in tune well. The vibrato bridge is set for beginners (against the body and pushes in...it's not quite a "floating" bridge. However, it can be manually adjusted to float freely). I absolutely love the sound of the neck pickup. It's is full and round. I find the sound thins out and becomes harsher as I move toward the bridge. Being that the pickups are naturally bright, I play with the tone knob turned down halfway. The tone knob is also very...loose, and doesn't offer much in the way of tonal diversity. It's either very bright, not quite as bright, or dull. With a decent amp however, this guitar can sound like anything. I was going to upgrade the pickups and tone pot this year, but instead purchased a new Epiphone Les Paul, which came with the particular pickups I wanted pre-installed (for about the price it would have cost to upgrade my PAC..I got a deal!), so I'm no longer going upgrade my PAC. However, I'm also not selling it. I'm definitely keeping it. I do love this guitar (despite my criticisms). I love the split coil humbucker, though I almost play exclusively on the neck, and am comfortable playing this guitar standing as well as sitting down. It works wonderfully with Rocksmith, and while I'd consider a Fender Squire Strat (not an Affinity nor Bullet) a step up in terms of tone, I'd easily choose the Pacifica over the cheaper Squier models. The Alnico V pickups on the 112V are clear and act as a wonderful blank canvas to throw effects over. The humbucker is gritty, though not menacing. The neck pickup is warm (when the tone is brought down), and the fretboard is very comfortable (never gets sticky). The frets are even and don't hang off the neck. Overall, an amazing guitar for the price.

nut is place too low, E string buzzes.
i play in a small group and this would work for an extra use guitar, it's just that the nut is too low on the neck and the E sting buzzes very badly.

This is an excellent guitar. The setup was playable from the factory. With some minor adjustments from an amazing guitar center employee, Tony, the action and tone was superb. With the splittable humbucker at the bridge, plus the 2 single coils, the guitar is extremely versatile. I was able to produce a variety of tones. This guitar will play anything I am able to throw at it. The alder body is stunning. I am normally not a fan of natural finish but the figuring in the wood looks great. It is made of three well matched pieces of wood with a nice satin finish. The neck has a nice feel and I appreciate the larger fretboard radius.

I really can't get over the quality of this guitar. The fit and finish is perfect. Pickups sound great, trem bar works fine. The push pull feature on the humbucker is a great option. The guitar came with a great set up and plays great. I do wish however, that they would indicate what kind and gage are the strings. The warranty book even has nice tips on setup. Wonderful guitar at this price.
I would but this product again.

If you're looking for a good solid guitar to learn on and don't want to break the bank this is a good choice. I'm very happy with mine. Electronics are good. Well built solid Guitar. I've abused mine and it begs for more.

This is my first electric guitar. Did endless research on guitars priced $300-$600 and almost every review gave this guitar a worthy mention. I can see why! Looks and plays great!
