Description
The Yamaha F335 acoustic guitar combines quality craftsmanship with affordability, making it an excellent choice for players seeking reliable performance and balanced tone. Its dreadnought body design delivers a powerful sound with full bass and clear treble, ideal for projecting in intimate settings or larger spaces. Featuring a laminated spruce top and meranti back and sides, this guitar produces a warm, resonant tone while maintaining durability. The rosewood fingerboard enhances playability, offering a smooth surface for effortless fretting and chord transitions. Whether you're a beginner looking for your first guitar or an experienced player seeking a dependable addition to your collection, the Yamaha F335 acoustic guitar delivers exceptional value and versatility in every note.
Laminated Spruce top for Balanced Projection
The laminated spruce top of this acoustic guitar is crafted to deliver both tonal clarity and structural resilience. Spruce is a renowned tonewood known for its ability to produce crisp highs and resonant lows. The laminated construction enhances durability, making this model resistant to environmental changes such as humidity fluctuations. The top's lightweight yet rigid design ensures optimal resonance, allowing the instrument to project a full, balanced sound. Whether strumming chords or picking melodies, this feature provides a consistent and pleasing tonal foundation for any playing style.
Meranti Back and Sides add Warmth and Depth
The meranti back and sides contribute to the warm, mellow tone of this guitar, complementing the brightness of its spruce top. Meranti is a durable and reliable tonewood that provides a steady projection and a rounded low end. The combination of meranti and spruce creates a balanced voice, making this model suitable for group jam sessions or solo performances. With sustain and clarity in every note, this tonewood pairing ensures that the instrument delivers a rich sound profile, perfect for players seeking warmth and depth in their acoustic tone.
Comfortable Neck Design for Effortless Playability
This guitar features a slim nato neck and rosewood fingerboard, offering a smooth and comfortable playing experience. Nato, a lightweight and durable hardwood, ensures stability and resonance, while the rosewood fingerboard adds warmth to the overall tone. The slim neck profile makes it easier for players to transition between chords and move along the fretboard with precision. With its ergonomic design and responsive feel, this instrument caters to guitarists of all levels, delivering comfort and playability that encourage longer practice sessions and inspired performances.
Durable Build With Classic Appointments
The Yamaha F335 is constructed to withstand years of use while maintaining its tonal integrity. Its laminated spruce top and meranti body provide durability, while the rosewood bridge efficiently transfers vibrations for consistent sustain. Details such as the tortoiseshell pickguard, soundhole rosette and gloss finish lend a traditional aesthetic that complements its dreadnought body shape. These appointments not only enhance the instrument's visual appeal but also reflect Yamaha's commitment to craftsmanship. The result is a guitar that balances durability with a timeless acoustic design.

Pick this guitar!
The Yamaha F335 is my third guitar. I was looking for an inexpensive acoustic guitar to replace my broken one. After trying so many guitars, this was definitely the one. It plays just as well as a Taylor, for less than half the price! I have the sunburst one... the color is beautiful, the sound is beautiful, and it's very comfortable. This guitar is great for everyone... if you're looking for your first or replacement guitar, this is the one!

It's good... for the price
I wanted a beater guitar that I could practice on and improve my skills, while not being so expensive or delicate that I would have a heart attack if my young kids got a hold of it. I also didn't want to have to worry about treating it delicately with regards to conditions like humidity. This all-laminate guitar was a perfect choice, and I actually chose it for these reasons over a spruce top model. The sound is ok, it's very playable, but tuning stability and intonation are not very good. This guitar is a great entry level or beater guitar, but you would be wise to ignore any reviews that say "it plays like a Taylor!" or "It sounds better than my friend's Martin!" No, people, it doesn't. Not even close. Comments like that are made by people who haven't been playing long enough for playability to matter, and/or have a tin ear. But for the price, it's a good low end guitar and a great choice for a beginner or student. Yamaha probably makes the best cheap guitars out there (< $250).

I was hesitant to buy because all the other lower priced acoustics I have purchased didn't sound very good and a tuning nightmare, but not this one. Deep, rich sound with minimal tuning and plays great. If you're on the fence about buying this guitar, get it, you won't regret it.
I would buy again
