Yamaha CG162C Cedar Top Classical Guitar Natural

Description
The Yamaha CG162C classical guitar produces a soft sound ideal for finger-picking, or intimate chord progressions, thanks to its nylon strings and superior woods. The full-size classical guitar design features strong mid-range and lower-mids, with emphasis on balanced tone. The end result is a Yamaha guitar with lots of smooth, classical appeal, for a great price.

The nato neck complements these qualities and adds clarity and dynamics to a Yamaha guitar with lots of dimension. Adjust your attack and sustain for each note, and the Yamaha CG162C guitar responds accordingly.
Other features of the Yamaha guitar include rosewood bridge and fretboard, white pearloid peg tuners, and gold hardware for a classic-looking classical guitar. Built to the precise specifications of Yamaha's master craftsmen, the CG162C nylon-string guitar will continue to sound as good as the day you bought it. Make that day today and order now. After trying out literally a dozen intermediate classical guitars in the $300 to $500 range, without a double the Yamaha CG 162 C was the best looking, most comfortable, best built, and played beautifully. I asked the GC Technician to replace the factory strings with Savarez Alliance R540 normal tensions. The sound was full, bright, and sustained. I could not be more pleased with my purchase and I actually feel that the CG 162 C sounded as good, if not better than the more expensive Yamahas CG 182 and 192. Thanks to Yamaha for a great product at a great price for this novice classical guitar student.

I have a Yamaha CGTA -- Transacoustic pickup system. I read online somewhere that the CGTA is basically this guitar plus the onboard transacoustic system. Is this basically the same guitar as the CGTA, except without the transacoustic system? I love it, by the way, guitar wise, and also the amazing electronics of the CGTA,
Yes. This is more or less the same guitar without the Transacoustic system.
