Very upset to buy something that doesn't work properly.
The Harbinger Vari 2215 has a great sound, especially for the money. The bass roll-off is specified at 45 Hz, but the bottom end sounds better than that, probably because it is a somewhat gradual roll-off. High frequency specified at 20 KHz. The highs are also very good. In fact these speakers have a very true and clear sound. Power is specified as 600 watts. This is a peak watt rating. This would be around 420 watts RMS. I suspect that actual RMS output may need to be de-rated a bit because RMS implies continuous use, and it is likely that speaker coil may not be able to handle full power continuously. One design flaw of the Vari series is that the knobs on the back are inset from the handles at the top and the bottom, but NOT along the sides. The problem here is that people usually flip the unit sideways and carry from the side handle with the knobs towards the leg. This would explain why I have seen of few of these units with missing knobs.
This mixer is great for mixing several keyboards and samplers. The xlr inputs on channels 1 and 2 have phantom power and sound great but have no gain control. Still for this price how can you complain. The effects and monitor sends are great for effects side chains. In short samson packed an almost rediculous amount of functionality into a single rack space. Well done!
People are curious as to why my two systems sound superior. I add just a little plate reverb, cut the low frequencies back on my acoustic guitar channels, compress the vocal channels and the guitar channels just before the touch gets loud, and BBE my mix output before the front of house PA. The BBE 882i can drive its XLR outputs and its 1/4" mono outputs simultaneously, so long as the input impedance of the mono monitors is 10k Ω or more. Finally, Pro Coverage just makes sense on used equipment purchases.
It's a standard DJ cd player. It does everything I need it to, set bpm, pitch shift, and also lets you DJ with mp3's with it's built in USB.
I'm not happy , I was sent the mix without carder so I could not turn it on at the time , I had to buy a new one and when I turned on the control ignition does not work, this direct and not go out, so I shall return immediately and never buy more something used with Guitar Center .
