Comments about Voyage-Air Guitar Transit VAMD-02 Travel Acoustic Guitar:
In our church worship band I play trombone and harmonica, but recently a need arose for leading worship in smaller groups.I know enough guitar chords to get by and I have an Ibanez AE, but wanted a guitar I could carry on my motorcycle. The Voyage-air fits the bill perfectly. Fit and finish are very good. For the size body, tone is excellent. I use a Bill Lawrence sound hole pickup when playing in the church sanctuary and a wireless tie-clip mic mounted on a music stand to catch voice and guitar in our dining hall. It does the job well. I find that loosening the strings periodically (folding down the neck) makes strings keep their brightness longer. When I unfold the neck and re-tune I find that although the strings are fairly well in tune with each other, they have all gone a little sharp from relaxing and being re-stretched. Bonus. Visually, the two halves of the top don't quite match, but for the price and the sound quality, that's not that big a deal to me.
