Overview

A marriage made on the bandstand. Digital and analog technologies deployed together to take advantage of digital signal processing and analog UHF transmission. Having a DSP chip to process the audio replaces hundreds of components relative to traditional systems with analog companding circuitry. This increases reliability and reduces background system noise. The vocal signal is then transmitted over Vocopro’s field-proven UHF technology. It is offered at a great price, making the Vocopro UDH-DUAL a revolution in both performance and value. Plug and Play design requires no microphone syncing set-up. Quickly scale up to 4 microphone channels by attaching an additional UDH receiver with no tools required.

Consumer Alert:

Most users do not need a license to operate this wireless microphone system. Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device. Purchasers should also be aware that the FCC is currently evaluating use of wireless microphone systems, and these rules are subject to change. For more information, call the FCC at 1-888-CALL-FCC (TTY: 1-888-TELL-FCC) or visit the FCC's wireless microphone website at: www.fcc.gov/cgb/wirelessmicrophones.

I will use these for my band.
The mics sound very good but the battery slot is too short to accommodate standard AA batteries. It takes tremendous pressure (to the point of breaking it) to insert any battery other than the ones that came with it.
I may have to take them back if I can't work around this problem.

Not sure if it's a keeper!

Comments about VocoPro UDH-DUAL-H Hybrid Wireless System:

I opened the box and hooked everything up at home and seemed to work just fine. Got to the gig and only one microphone was functional. The one mic that worked, worked great but the other mic kept cutting out and just was plain useless. I switched batteries, I changed out cables, I did everything to troubleshoot it but there was something wrong with that microphone, virtually right out of the box. I was glad I had the backup and that's why I bought a combo for "just in case". But, it just didn't work out and I returned the system the next day.

Don't use the 1/4 output. Sounds horrible. Use the XLR outputs and gives you better sound adjustment per channel

Inexpensive mics do what they advertise.

Comments about VocoPro UDH-DUAL-H Hybrid Wireless System:

The regular batteries actually don't fit well like the other reviewer said. They sound ok kind of bassy but the wireless works good. I guess you get what you pay for.

Comments about VocoPro UDH-DUAL-H Hybrid Wireless System:

These mics are a nice upgrade from the lowest cost options available. The singers are much clearer in the monitors and treat the mics with a bit more respect than the light weight units.

Comments about VocoPro UDH-DUAL-H Hybrid Wireless System:

The mic sounds great! However, after only 30 min of first time use, the new unit would not turn back on. I called the company and the VocoPro Tech Support staff thinks it may be because of the power supply, but I think it may be a combination of bad power supply and/or defective wireless transmitter unit. VocoPro told me to send it back for a one-on-one replacement.
