I got these after having seen them online several times. I liked the fact that they were thick, but also very long (over 17"), which really helps to balance them in your hands. I'm also a fan of the blue grip surface. So far, I've had them for about a month and I don't think that I'm ever going to need to try and find a better fit. They've got the power, the reach, the balance, the finesse... everything a drummer could ask for. And don't be scared by their weight, because once you put them behind a kit, they move as if they were simply extensions of your hands. Try em out!

Pretty good sticks but they were bigger than I expected for them to be.

After realizing that the stick I was using was discontinued, I started searching for good sticks. Ironically this was my first choice of stick, the stick provides an awesome grip to prevent losing my stick in the middle of practice or a gig, second, as a musician I noticed that the blended tip and taper provided a real nice bell sound. With the stick being as thick and as long as it is, it has been able to endure the prog. rock music my band plays and also is good for using as a jazz or practically any other style I chose. I have to say this is the drumstick equilvant to the tama speed cobra bass drum pedals.
