I have had this for 1 month now and have had a number amount of parties. It hasnt had any problems so far, and its not that big so for a person like me who has to moove around a lot it is a perfect resource. I highly recomend this!!
Bought 2 of these about 4 months ago. 1 never really worked good. First the disc woundn't play unless it was loaded/unloaded several times. Then it just stopped playing. Replaced it with a new one that lasted for about 3 months. Turned it on one day and nothing worked. Lights didn't come on and I couldn't eject my disc. The other one is still going strong. Effects work pretty good. Pitch works good between 6 and 10% but disc seems to skip when on the 50% setting. My overall experiences have been good and bad. Hopefully all will be good when 2nd replacement arrives.
I own 2 of these players and it appears that I have the same problem as most of you guys. One works good and the other one starts acting up. I only had mine for 1 month and I already have issues. In scratch mode, it will work ok, but after 2 minuites, I can't use the scratch feature while the scratch button is still on. I dunno what it is, but I am highly concerned. I hopw that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Other than that, I recommend that you get a set, and the TTM1 adapter is terrific!!! I have Vesttax PMC turntables and this adapter is accurate and I can easily skratch on time with these units. 4.0 is my nod.
I was looking to buy a Denon CD player, but the stores around me didn't have them instock, and needed something to replace my old cd players before the weekend. So after talking to the sales clerk, he talked me into the Vestax. Well I used them that weekend with any problems, and I'm still learning new thing about it a few weeks later. The only I didn't like was, Vestax could have put more detailed instructions on the features, but I guess it was fun to learning everything on my own too.
I've had one of these for about a year now and overall I am pretty pleased. After about 3 months, I noticed that during sessions it would begin to freeze up about 10 seconds into each song and I would have to FF about 10-15 seconds to "unfreeze" it. The rest fo the song would play fine, but it's a pain in the middle of a mix, especially if you're out somewhere live. Also, I have not received any feedback from Vestax via email and there are no customer service numbers to call.
