I work in the theater on cruise ship 10 months out of the year. I'm required to play just about every style one can think of and these sticks fit them all whether it be Rock, Big Band, Classical, Jazz, or Dixieland. You name it they cover it, and are incredibly durable.

I'm surprised there's only one review on these sticks: these are great sticks! Like 80Drummer said before me, Josh Freese uses these and he's played in a billion albums and concerts. But more importantly, this is the stick you should be getting if you're looking for something between a 5A and a 5B. I play for a church and there's songs where I need to be gentler and songs I can just rock out on, and this stick allows you to fulfill both of those roles. Even if you're a metalhead, these sticks are very durable: I've been playing with these for maybe 2 months now and they haven't broken yet. These are actually my first pair of Vater sticks and I'm very happy with them. I highly recommend these if you're someone who likes to play a variety of musical genres.

These sticks are flat out SOLID. Josh Freese is one of the best drummers alive so it was a no-brainer to try these out. I purchased one pair a month ago and they are still holding up perfectly!! Not only can they handle a heavy beating but they're also VERY comfortable in your hands. HIGHLY recommended to any drummer!!
