These sticks are great for playing con-tempo gospel
More Durable, But Not as Comfortable as the Standard Fusion

I recently got the normal Fusion sticks and loved everything about them. They were quick, the barrel tip made for incredibly articulate cymbal hits, and they just felt amazing. Then I broke them within an hour of use. Admittedly, I had been hitting pretty hard, so I'm definitely not blaming those sticks. That said, I wondered if the Gospel version might prove more durable for harder hitting due to the extra 1/2" in length. After playing them for a little over a week, I don't think I'll be purchasing them again. They're certainly more durable, but something about the added length makes them feel incredibly unbalanced to me. It felt very top heavy, and made maneuvering around the kit with any sort of speed pretty difficult. It just didn't feel natural. Perhaps if they had widened the grip a little the weight distribution would have been better. Of course, everyone's preference is different so don't be afraid to try them out. They're Vater, so you know you're getting an excellent product, but maybe try the standard Fusion stick first. They aren't as durable, but believe me when I say they're some of the most comfortable sticks I've ever played.
I would buy these sticks again if I had to
