Overview

Made In: United States

The Fender Nocaster was produced in early to mid-1951 as the result of legal action over the guitars previous name, the Broadcaster. Before Fender had come up with a new name for the instrument, factory workers snipped the Broadcaster name from the existing decals and the instruments were identified as just Fender. By summer of 1951 Fender officially renamed the instrument to Telecaster and has been known as such ever since. The name Nocaster was originally coined by collectors to denote the transitional period between the Broadcaster and the Telecaster since these instruments were manufactured for a few months without a product name. These no name instrument became highly collectible and experts estimate less than 500 originals were ever made.<!-- End Brand Description -->. This product comes with a case.
